James, can you define "ready status"?

I've owned my Maverick since May, a 2024 Lariat EcoBoost. I just tried plugging a leaf blower and a 20-volt battery charger into the bed outlet. Neither worked. The truck was not running at the time. My understanding is it should work without the truck running. Am I missing something or do...

I wanted to do an update on the Bedrug. I was skeptical at first, but as of now I am very happy with it. It is comfortable to kneel on and is taking abuse well (pile of firewood). Using the existing Ford OME fasteners has also worked well. No need for the Velcro strips.

I agree with you on the looks of the fog lights. To be honest I have not used the fog lights as yet, but I will be glad I have them when I need them.

Update: Like many Maverick owners who live in a state that requires 2-license plates, I did not want to drill holes in my front bumper. I initially attached it with cable ties until I could come up with a more permanent solution. I looked into mounts made specifically for our Mavericks but...

No cup holders, no cubby, no AC, no driver aids, among other things. Plenty of nostalgia when going down the road though.

Quite a few kits out there. I like this kit from CRSP because it a copy of the Kelsey-Haynes brakes used on early Mustangs. Parts are available for repairs and most parts stores. Bolts on to Falcon V8 spindles.

Well, it is a Northern car now but does not see winter any longer. The Ranchero started life in Northern California, still had a fair amount of rust in the floors and rear quarter panels. Spent about 2-years restoring it. I like your Maverick color. Thank you for the compliment.

Do not mind it, but mine hardly ever works because I do not drive allot so the battery never has enough charge to activate it. When I do drive long enough to get the battery to full charge it is nice when I hit one of those only one direction at a time road construction projects.

Found mine this afternoon at the local Walmart.

I asked my dealer to not to install it. It now sits on the shelf in my garage. I mounted the license plate with stainless steel straps, no holes drilled. The Factory bumper does have dimples where the holes are to be drilled for mounting the bracket.

Found this is a drawer this week. Was from my original 1971 Maverick.
