Here we go……about to hit 2K miles. The truck has been everything I expected, finally getting warmer so I can add a few small items to the exterior. I’ve hauled up to 1200 lbs in the bed with ease, 30 bags of wood pellets 😁, no towing yet. Sound system is great and don’t seem to have any loss...

After seeing this, I paid 39.5k for my 25 Lariat EB with no BAP but a good amount of options. I’m very happy overall, feel like the SC is overpriced and TFL should have gotten a Lariat to compare to other vehicles.

I didn't purchase an EB for the gas mileage, I did it for the fun of driving. If I wanted to save money on gas I would have bought a Hybrid.

MY2025, how about some lights down by the center console/charging pad? Can't see SH!T :cool:

Definitely louder than the Ecoboost I had in the Edge but not too the point I notice it.

If anyone is interested I found how to change the speed sign cruise settings. Features - Drivers Assistance….you can turn it off or change the tolerance to max of plus 20.

Can someone tell me if I have it upside down? Seems to function the same way whether I have the piston at the top or bottom. When it’s at the top the tailgate strap gives me a hard time when closing the tailgate. This way it closes perfectly.

My 2025 Lariat is costing me less than the 2016 Edge Titanium I got rid of. Have top of the line coverage and pay $1400 a year, no tickets, no accidents, and have defensive driving discount.

Yeah…I had it the other way and when I was trying to close the tailgate the tailgate cable was not playing nice. It’s seems to operate the same way. When I open the tailgate it initially drops a bit and then the assist kicks in half way down. Deep freeze is coming again so I’ll change it up...

Quick update to some of the replies. Yes, it’s very loud when cold starting until it warms up, like very loud!! Believe this may be the GPF but really not sure?? Added a RC tailgate assist today. 😁

I went with a RC flip up on my Lariat. Yes, the brackets get in the way of being able to slide the Ford rail hook all the way back and forth but I found someone on this site who makes some nice 3D printed bed rail hooks which can be added anywhere along the rail.

First reason I didn’t go BAP, second was the black roof. So glad I saved myself $1700, the new truffle interior is sharp imo.

Thanks everyone! Based on today it was definitely reading signs in the NJ Tpk. Car would drop to 5mph over the limit, and yes it went to 45 In a construction zone!! I need to find that setting!
