Waiting till ring incorporates ring car cam into their subscription for ring home security. Not trying to pay for another subscription and only cover one car camera. They will eventually do it and will kill the security game if they do.
Been following your build in your other thread. So with the stop blocks u added that came with eibach do u still "bottom out" with load in the bed? Want to use my bed to haul concrete etc, but hoping lowering won't give me the rough bottoming out. Thanks!!
Looks great. So looks like really any bed rack with c-clamp or j-clamp mount will work with the maverick, as long as don't want a tonneau cover on. Perfect because I don't want a tonneau cover just need any bed rack that will make kayaks easy to haul. Bookmarked this thread for future reference...

So I like your method for sure. How about a jumper mod like this? No splicing needed then and can add a pin to empty spot on oem harness to power it? Been used before on Motorcycles to bypass manufacturers US horsepower restrictions to unlock more horsepower. Personally used this on my own...
My plan is work on puddle lights at some point here. I got the puddle lights already just need to find some time to get it done and nicely. I'm trying to splice as little of the factory cables as I can.

1) move dash cam plug into one of the two built in USB ports, the ones u use for carplay/android auto (aka the USB ports your cell phone charger is on)
2) use "add a fuse" and cut off the USB plug on your dashcam and wire directly into fuse box inside the truck.
If you are set on keeping it powered via USB, I would recommend plugging it into the 2 data usb ports for Android auto/carplay. They turn off shortly after locking car. However, if don't want to sacrifice one of the data usb ports I would use use a add a fuse tap to ignition powered circuit in...
