My first '22 Hybrid Maverick set for 5 weeks.Went into deep sleep 1st week, came home after 5 weeks turned key and no noise no nothing.Well long story longer I had not had it long and forgot it was a Hybrid. It was running just in battery mode ha!
Some sway when vehicles pass, but same as a 1/2 ton Chevy or F150.Cheap weight distribution hitch and sway control.Gonna try without it on next trip to see difference (It weighs almost 100#).
I Just bought this 1st trip 1200 miles and through mountains.Frontal area did not create and issues for the Maverick Hybrid AWD 4 k except gas mileage was 13.9.Motor never had to over rev and had no slowdown or hesitation up hills and a breeze down hills.Hardly any breaking required (steep long...
We have both Santa Fe Calligraphy and a loaded 4k Lariat Maverick top tier everything on them awd's here in the US the S.F.was like 8 grand more than the Maverick.Hands down Maverick is a better vehicle in every aspect and gets about 7-8 mpg better. Also The Santa Fe tow rating is only 2000#
I just used an Amazon cheap tailgate tent, think it was like 25 bucks.Had to install 3/4 " PVC and pool noodles to support where SUV hatch normally holds up roof area.I also have the Napar SUV tent which is nice For staying on same site for several days.
Nice freebie! I bought the Flated 3 years ago, works for my needs, weighs 22 lbs.Can remove and store pretty much anywhere.reinstalls in 7-8 minutes including inflation.I have no way to lug around a heavy topper,I'm old.
Thanks, yep inflatable never noticed the wind resistance much so probably does help a lot .You do have to drive it in 15 mph and up side winds, like any vehicle I suppose.
Yep inflatable weighs like 22 lbs and does help wind resistance a lot.
Have had all 4 years all Hybrid and all different sizes 17/18/19 AWD now I can't tell any difference. The only issue is on delivery of all of em dealer left tires from factory at 45 psi.Drop down to 35 and a much better ride on all.
Just got back 1200 miles in my Hybrid AWD 4k Florida through the Blue Ridge Mountains 13.9 mpg 68-74 mpg up and down hills no hesitation, little sway trucks passing even with WDH and sway control, still one hand on the wheel driving most of the time about the same weight with truck loaded

Been towing since 2022 with several Mavericks never had an issue with the lane centering till now no jerking or abrupt crazy jerks.Lane assist yes, lane centering never.I probably towed 60,000 miles with the lane centering worked perfect.I always tow under 1500 lbs. May go back to a '24 to get it...
Just took delivery, disapointed to see that the lane assist/centering is disabled while towing. The '22.'23'24 I owned worked perfect while towing. Why would they take that away? I use a small trailer on long trips and always used the lane centering ,This sucks! Please no comments about safety,It...
