A wire was chafed from the factory and I wanted to replace it. Turned out the copper inside was not touched so I simply sealed over the damaged part and didn't have to remove the wire from the connector.

That's true even here in Maine during the summer. I bought the Ford seat covers to put over the Lariat seats for just that reason. Made a huge difference, and got them "free" using the Fordpass points from buying the vehicle.

Best I ever got was 35.0 mpg. I generally get between 30 - 32 mpg on the highway.

I have looked in both places previously but was unable to find one that matched the existing AWD badge. There are plenty if you want a different looking badge, though. :-) I was hoping to find a perfect match only in black instead of chrome.
