I'm on the fence about it for hybrid XL. I have yet to see a hybrid XL fleet yet though - everything has been EB which I'm sure do make some money. I do know my local power utility has been trying to get a fleet of hybrid XL to meet their emissions goals and their order keeps getting pushed...
While true for trim, Ford sets their production breakdown percentages by trim and engine and they're not going to get an unrealistic allocation outside of the provided percentages.
I don't think you're correct about model though (assuming you mean models of cars and not engine types within a...
There's been a lot of speculation that the margins are slim on an XL (maybe even negative on a hybrid XL) - they're only going to make what they need for CAFE standards to be allowed to sell more of their more profitable vehicles.
Make too many, you've lost more money you won't recoup with...
Order banks are still open - call other dealers and ask if they have any XLT hybrid allocations left. You might be able to get scheduled next month if they have no other XLT hybrids waiting in line.
Just an update here - it appears Ford did not go through with closing those banks. Several dealers have said they can submit orders, and we're still seeing dozens of new XL orders weekly in the USOB stats.
I am as well and had to get my sticker through the direct link (still won't work through the tracker). It popped up Monday evening for me there. Add your vin after the =

There are a few in this thread: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/imho-most-mavericks-will-rot-out-at-the-left-rear-quarter-will-yours.39968/
Most of them are plastic covers where the mud flaps go (or mudflaps themselves), but there's another fabricated galvanized steel plate...
When my truck arrives, my first one is going to be simple - the matte black radio trim piece. Ever since I found out it exists, that area of the dash just looks wrong without it.
If you're only going 3-6 miles, the engine is barely getting to operating temperature, if at all. It's going to run rich to warm the engine and its fluids up, and especially the cat for emissions. So you're burning well above average fuel amounts with only short trips, especially only at city...
This topic comes up every few months and I've tested this out in the wild while waiting for mine to be built. In our Corolla (manual rear view), the Mav lights are brighter than most of the other cars on the road (luxury cars being the worst offenders) and I've had to flip the mirror. In my...
Hopefully your dealer learned a lesson about how to properly get a priority code assigned - if only they had learned sooner. But at least it was a quick turnaround once fixed!
When you have 8 gears to choose from, there's very little resistance in the top gears. It's basically coasting without having to shift gears, therefore reducing wear on the transmission components. Also means that when braking, the car can shift to an appropriate gear where engine braking can...
When you heard about the truck just as MY22 orders cut off, and you were out of town for the MY23 4-day ordering bank, you have a lot of time to learn everything about it 🤣
Did it have any recall work done and/or are their outstanding recalls on it? Sounds like the symptoms of the wiring harness or battery cable recalls/TSBs.
Some one posted about this a couple months ago - I can't find the thread but I believe it was resolved by restarting/resetting their SYNC (press the power/vol button and seek/next track buttons at the same time and hold until it restarts). Didn't work for everyone but resolved the delay for a few.
