Going full color theory on ya here.... sorry / not sorry.
The shade of bronze you picked appears (to me) to be clashing a little bit with the blue. I think a cooler shade of bronze - something with a bit less orange, will look better.
Also - I think it's just the wheel design being tricky, but...
Does that mean you're providing your own "CLICK" when required?
Next thing you're going to tell me you don't slap the tie down and say "that'll hold" every time...
playing with fire there, my friend.
If you're still looking, let me know... i'm in North Texas, but there are plenty of sets for sale here locally - both maverick and bronco sport.
I can probably snag one and ship it to you at a very reasonable price.
Got azure grey. If A51 was on offer, that would have been better - Azure has a bit of reddish / purple to it, which does screwy stuff with certain wheel colors.
I really wanted eruption green, but wasn't an option for 2026. My wife and I have owned 2 green cars in our lifetime, and we had bad...
Correct - bronco sport wheels are largely identical in offset / bolt pattern / hub bore.
If you want more options - take a look at the 2021-26 escape wheels. the offsets there are closer to the mav - I think they're +40 to +42 ish. 4mm doesn't matter.
26 Lariat Hybrid.
First thing it "really" hauled - the OEM 19" wheels and tires
Generally - I haul all sorts of DIY stuff - lawn/garden supplies, building materials (haven't done a full sheet of wood... yet - haven't had the need) + tools. Cycling gear, folding tables for school cookout...
I'm using one of these on my 26 in the same locaiton. I have a flat USB-C cable plugged into a super-low-profile cigarette adapter. It's not as "invisible", but it's certainly not a spaghetti of wires all over the place. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DL6ZBC3F
this cable...
FYI (up in DFW area) there's a set of fifteen52 17" wheels with upsized AT tires up on FB marketplace for around $1500. They look to be in great shape.
I've also got almost new (280 miles) 19" wheels from my lariat if you want em, but I expect that's not really what you have in mind.
If you’re okay with shipping, I’ve got wheels only. Lariat, machined face (not all black) 280’miles on the set. I’m in north Texas. Get good FedEx ground rates through work!
Picked up and installed a secondhand retractable tonneau. And now I really (really!) need a bed mat… this seems awfully well timed, lol!
Also color matched my made in Mexico emblem!
Apologies - totally missed this… purchased the kit here: https://ebay.us/m/BzsKrI
I’ve done my fair share of complex automotive wiring installs over the years. This was not that. Blindingly easy. The actual mirror look great, and has a slightly larger surface area than stock, so you see a bit...
^^^ this is the answer. If there's evidence of rodent damage and the problem relates to the wiring harness, the dealership is being reasonable.
Of course, if one of your wheel bearings was shot, or some other part was failing early unrelated to wiring, that would be a pile of BS.
zero regrets here. Loving getting 38-40mpg in my city drives. Hybrid + AWD was what drew me in, because fuel economy plus utility was my priority.
And no issues so far (although it's only been 6 weeks or so). Don’t expect anything crazy down the line. This powertrain is pretty tested at this point.
Well… unexpected FB marketplace find here, and I have a new roll-up hard tonneau now. Was about 85% off retail.
Retrax One XR manual, with the t-slot rails. Getting the installation / fit dialed in completely by myself was a bit of a chore, but I’m amazed at how nicely made this thing is, and...
