I looked into this camera. Here’s the issue. As far as I know No maverick trim has rain sensing wipers. At least my 2024 lariat doesn’t.

Of coarse. There are inside cameras and outside (waterproof) cameras.

I didn’t want the camera inside. Tinted rear window, sliding rear window and didn’t want a camera stuck on the window. Cameras have been installed outside for years.

I installed the rear dash cam on top of the trailer hitch. I ran the cables like you said. Through the grommet behind the rear seat. Worked out great. The view from the camera is just right. Thanks for your help.

I’m not able to check right now. When I looked earlier today I saw two larger grommets behind the back seat. Maybe 4x2 inches in size. One on each side. I’ll check it out tomorrow when I get back to the truck. Thanks

What is the best way to mount a rear dash cam outside of the truck near the trailer hitch ? I’m trying to figure out how to best route the cable from inside of the truck to outside of the truck. Thanks

If my Maverick is registered in Florida but I have an address in Connecticut will that work.

I retired in 1994. I got the $500 discount on 1-12-24. At first my sales man said something about leaving the military in the last 24 months. Then he called someone at Ford (sorry, not sure who) and then he called ID me. After the two calls he was able to apply the $500 discount.

Mine came of the dealership with 46,45,43,41 psi. Very rough ride. I lowered the psi to 35. Nice comfortable ride now.

I received my 2024 lariat on 1-12-24. So far I’m loving it. No issues. I understand how you feel. Some people on here had me kinda questioning getting it. But I’ll say I’m happy with my decision. Try to remember some people seem to dwell on the negative. I believe MOST owners love there Mavericks 🙂

Congratulations, I got mine on the 12th.

You can still see a slight green tint when it’s sunny outside. I think the Black offsets it. I like how it looks.
