I had an Area 51 Maverick Lariat on order. The day after I gave up and bought the Ranger, I got notice from Ford that my Maverick is scheduled to be built the week of October 11th. I expect I’ll have a couple thousand miles of my Ranger by then.

It’s my second Ranger. I ordered the first STX of the new body style in 1993. I waited the 6 weeks it took to build and deliver it. It was a great truck. I’m hoping this new one will be great as well.

The full size spare isn’t available on the AWD FX4 Lariat Lux package so I don’t know how you could add it.

There are options that are not mentioned on the Ford Build and Price site. The FX4 package for example. I appreciate your concern but I do know what I’m doing. This isn’t the first time I’ve ordered a new car to spec.

I’m not interested in a hybrid. When you compare like for like they are very much alike but I think the SC has more advantages for a slight increase in cost. They are very much in the same class.

Thanks Tom. My question is not for the hybrid but for the Ecoboost. I understand why this feature is put on the hybrid. I’m asking if the Ecoboost has start/stop as a standard feature or even as an option that I wouldn’t want.
