Not a cheap option but it is secure which is my primary concern. I have a slightly used (2 month old) Extang Trifecta Signature 2.0 I used until the DiamondBack arrived if anyone is interested. It's listed in the marketplace.
I have a nearly new Extang Trifecta Signature 2.0 tonneau for sale. The cover is about 2 months old. I just purchased it to get me by until my DiamondBack got built and it will be here tomorrow. As new condition. Top was $549.99 new. Asking $300.00. Prefer local pickup but would ship if buyer...
Your safe at my house as long as you don't splash her with water.
I don't get the tag blurring thing either. Got to figure a lot more folks see your tag riding around every day than a couple of folks online talking about a vehicle. But hey you do you.
Only had the Mav about 3 weeks and have 600+/- miles on the clock but when I pulled in the driveway today I was averaging 29.7. I use it as a work truck and just drive like I normally drive. Hwy/city mix. Running 89 octane.
You have to change the values in the "AS Built" in the PSCM module address 730-03-01. There are 3 sets of values. In the 3rd set of values change the 1st 2 digits from 01 (enabled) to 00 (disabled). Then click write all and follow the key off/on instructions. That's it.
Basically you need a PC (I'm a Mac/iOS guy so bought a cheap Asus laptop just for this use) and a OBDlink EX Forscan OBD adaptor (Amazon $60.00). Download Forscan and purchase the user license which I think was $10 or something like that. Seems a little intimidating at first but pretty easy once...
I purchased an Extang Signature 2.0 to get me by until my DiamondBack comes in. The Extang is decent. I need something as secure as possible which is why I went with the DB.
Those rates are high. I'm in Florida as well and I just added my new 2023 Maverick last week and it was $557.00 and change for 6 months with Geico. I have a multi-car discount so that may factor in some.
