Yes using Forscan you can disable the start/stop. I'll go back and look up the module values that I changed and post it.

Eliminated start/stop with Forscan and I just use then Ford app if I want to start remotely.

Yep the ceramic is expensive. $850.00 for the Mac and $800.00 for the Bronco. It does make a significant difference and it's worth the coin.

Only had the Mav about 3 weeks and have 600+/- miles on the clock but when I pulled in the driveway today I was averaging 29.7. I use it as a work truck and just drive like I normally drive. Hwy/city mix. Running 89 octane.

You have to change the values in the "AS Built" in the PSCM module address 730-03-01. There are 3 sets of values. In the 3rd set of values change the 1st 2 digits from 01 (enabled) to 00 (disabled). Then click write all and follow the key off/on instructions. That's it.

Basically you need a PC (I'm a Mac/iOS guy so bought a cheap Asus laptop just for this use) and a OBDlink EX Forscan OBD adaptor (Amazon $60.00). I purchased an Extang Signature 2.0 to get me by until my DiamondBack comes in. The Extang is decent. I need something as secure as possible which is why I went with the DB.

Take one down to Discount Tire (I'm assuming you have those in Canada) and they can scan it.

Those rates are high. I'm in Florida as well and I just added my new 2023 Maverick last week and it was $557.00 and change for 6 months with Geico. I have a multi-car discount so that may factor in some.
