Any idea if the protective film is either restricted or a late item? I haven't seen any scheduled builds with it listed (just the airshow display model).

I'm doubting the embargo was lifted, since we haven't seen a peep from reviewers, much less full videos or articles from a hands on, driving situation

When did the protective film get on the delay list?

Has there been a list of dealers getting training / display Mavs? I ordered out of state, but I'd love to take a sit in one before hand.

I called the 800 number and they confirmed my order (and said it was pending). She said they had been having problems bc a lot of people hadn't gotten their email, but that we should get one when production is scheduled.

That, or others haven't gotten the notice.

Just saw a Ranger today with the flag filling in the tailgate letters. It looked good. Now, the question is can I get it to work with the Texas flag, or will I have to settle for a Texas Edition aftermarket emblem?

Both Bronco Sport and CRVs with push button starts and the magic door touch unlocking won't keep the doors locked with the key for in the cab.

Work truck white here, too. Almost went blue, but I just like the relative anonymity of a white Ford. XLT with AWD and Fx4.

I'm in an odd position, in that the Lariat has one great feature that messes things up for me: push button start. You cannot lock the car with the key for in it. I want to be able to leave the keys locked in when at the beach and such and will use the keypad to get back in. The only reason...

While I can't specifically about this one, from my touch screen unit, you can control the input, including radio bands, Bluetooth, Android auto/Apple car, USB (for files on the drive), etc. Your music and navigation apps would be done through Android auto / apple.

FYI, For courtesy deliveries in South Texas, I just spoke to a dealer in Mission who will do them for 300. I gave the info to Tom at Chapman.

Re thermoflask, can you tell us how that compares to your standard 32 Oz/ 1 L Nalgene bottle? Not familiar with the brand, and it appears too skinny to accommodate a Nalgene type bottle (and all mine are that sized bade, even the hydroflasks).

I made the decision and pulled the trigger very recently with Chapman and using a courtesy delivery. They've been very quick and responsive.

I really want to know the context; running across it on the side of the road with the flashers on is a scary sign. :eek:

Or if they know a dealer in the area doing courtesy deliveries?
