No real hate here, but, hasn't the DCT in the Santa Cruz been reported to overheat and malfunction when offroading and doing any significant towing or carrying the rated payload? I guess we need to jump yet further to avoid transmission problems 🥲
Yeah, I always tell people to get the fluids out of their trannies :) I figured you meant miles, I'm the odd one out in this forum living in the land of kilometers.
I asked the service advisor at a different dealer to do that at the 45,000km service (~28,000 mi, services are every 15,000 km here, I do another engine oil and filter change between each dealer service) and they said it had lifetime fluid. I pointed out the manual has a timeline for...
That's the plan, though I will wait a couple days before bringing that up so that it won't lead to confusions. The dealership is still sorting out the rental vehicle for me. I also plan to mention the TSB for the rattling seats and get the PTU and RDU their fluid changes.
Considering that, first of all, 1000 watts is ear-splitting loud in such a small space, it would only happen at most for fractions of a second at max volume, and average draw would be like 100 watts when listening at a very high volume (just spitballing), not noticeable at all.
Consider also...
Hello everyone, happy new year! What a better way to start the year than with a transmission that slips like a toddler on ice?
At just about 64,500 km / 40,000 mi my transmission began slipping. It was very sudden, only took 3 days to go from slight slip every once in a while from a dead stop...
Yes, the 8 inch does barely fit under the rear seat on either side in my ecoboost, it should fit under your hybrid's driver side, but you do need to remove the plastic tub on the side you'll place the subwoofer in order for the seat to latch back on.
It has served me very well for years, but...
I have a Rockford Fosgate P300-8P under my rear bench running on auto-detect (offset-detect, not audio detect) only. My truck will start right up after 12 days parked (longest it has ever gone unused). I'd say auto detect is not as bad as you'd think for draining batteries.
Greetings!
I decided to tap into the front speaker wires for two reasons:
1.- Since the rear speakers are smaller, they are likely receiving a signal with most of the bass cut out as they can't handle it. I don't know if using forscan to set the stereo's equalization to flat would help there...
Hold up, wiper motor could get water logged and malfunction? Dou you happen to have the TSB? Since new I've had problems with mine getting kinda stuck and thumping around only during rainfall, and complaining every time to the service department of my dealer lol. This might finally make me feel...
I have an AAwireless and an Android, though not a pixel. Wireless or wired a few times in the dialer in Android Auto on the radio my phone has defaulted to output to the phone speaker and mic, and the dialer app on there has a button to switch between that, speakerphone on the phone, and the...
User Dynamo found this code to change the headlight auto-on timer from the deafult 15 seconds down to 2 seconds as seen on this thread:
I have tested and confirmed this works.
That's right, only changed that position from 3 to 5, just like in your case. It gave me a checksum error which I told forscan to ignore, as with most changes we make :)
Sorry for taking so long.
CONFIRMED: your method works flawlessly on my truck, thank you for your work. I will update the title and OP to add the info and give you credit.
Here's a video of it working.
