    Yes but do not get the newer version with the coil on plug,it's too much work to try to adapt it for little to no gain

    You are correct. This is the hybrid version which gave you as you said the best of both worlds. The reason why they liked to throw rods is oil starvation under hard right hand turns.. But you can do 2.5 liter heads on the 3.0 block from a non svt or you can go full 3.0 build With stock 3l heads...
