Your best bet is to get one of these from Amazon. Fits in the space perfectly....has a short USB cord that connects to your USB jack in the truck. An iPhone 12 or 13 ProMax easily fits on it.
I just got an email from my dealer letting me know the location of my truck. Assembly was completed on April 19....and now it is sitting in a rail car in a BIG train yard in Nogales, Mexico just over the border from Arizona. Ferrocarrilera, Nogales, Sonora, Mexico to be exact.
I am guessing it...
My set-up is new aftermarket speakers including a subwoofer w/amplifier (Focals). My installer plans to use an LC2iPro....so from what you're saying....they'll connect to the FoMoCo head unit's front channels (which I presume are full spectrum 20-20K Hz) and not use the rear channel outputs...
I wonder if the LC2iPro will do the same thing to overcome the factory's equalization changes to limit the frequencies going to the back speakers? My system will have the LC2iPro along with an 8" Kicker sub....and I'd like that sub to get all the frequencies it's supposed to get.

I know the feeling, too! Mine is "supposed" to arrive May 16-22. Like TheShark....I relate to the old Heinz ketchup commercial....ANTICIPATION!
Mine is shipping via Rail.....and then I think they let it sit in a big rail yard for a while waiting on a truck to take it the rest of the way.

No worries! From what I’m reading it may be a great choice!
If there are any others like me that wanted to do what you did, but were hesitant to tackle a project like this for fear of tearing up their truck (those clips make me nervous!)….I can share what it cost to pay someone else to do it...
Thanks Howard....glad to hear that.
BTW....I used to live near Jefferson, TX growing up.....went to 1st grade there. Swam in Lake 'O the Pines many times.
I did not hear any suggestions from the group.....so I made the decision to get something not mentioned here. Hope I'm not sorry!
I'm getting Focal 6.5's in the front and 4" coax's in the back with a Kicker 8" powered sub.
We'll see how it sounds.....
BootXL76....
First of all.....thank you so much for your excellent documentation as we've all seen and read your audio installation journey. It will help those who wish to do a DIY upgrade of their sound systems....and it also helps others realize that they really don't want to go through all...
The process of manufacturing a Maverick takes a little over a week! Mine began on 4/11/22 and just today it was completed.
Won't get it for another month roughly....
My XLT Hybrid Maverick is currently in production and if all goes well I should have it in about a month. I’d like to connect my Wheel Witness Dash Cam with one of these new cables that plugs into the fuse box so it gets power only when the key is turned on. My Dash Cam uses a USB-mini plug...
You and prop2431 have done a GREAT job figuring this all out.....Kudos to both of you!
I ordered an XLT and it appears there's a little bit more DIY work for those than for the Lariat. That combined with the expense (you said about $500) means this won't likely happen for me.
What I'd found...
A LOT of the photos on this thread make the color look more yellow than orange. They are NOT accurate. Here is a more accurate view of Cyber Orange....
