My '23 XLT was doing this when I bought it last month. I took it to a dealer (Dobbs Ford, Birmingham. AL) and they traced it to a dead cell in the starter battery, which they replaced under warranty. Problem solved.
There's something about the hybrid mileage that makes one want to dabble with the hypermile game. 😎 I pay $2.489/gal, but for those who have to pay higher prices, I imagine the temptation is even greater.
I ha.ve had my '23 XLT hybrid for about a month. I keep my climate control set on 78, and in the recent high 80s of Birmingham, AL, my CC would set itself to LO when I remote started the truck and it was sitting in the sun (I also put up a windshield shade when its hot).

55 was considered the most efficient speed. In my mid-20s, I found it to be maddeningly slow as well.😄
Part of it may be mellowing with age, but given the incredible mileage (and gas savings) I'm getting from my hybrid Mav, I am quite happy cruising at 65-70mph. 😎

The EPA estimates certainly seem to be conservative. Last week, I my drove my hybrid up I-22 from Birmingham, AL to Memphis, TN and back. On the trip up, I cruised at 75 (in Eco mode) and showed 38+ mpg. On the flip, I went 65 in normal mode and bumped my mileage up to around 43!
