I was thinking about that, but it would get annoying to have to put on an elbow pad everytime I'm going to drive. I think I'm going to buy one of the products a previous poster identified
I just went on a long trip with my Maverick. It was great, but my left elbow had serious fatigue. Anyone have suggestions for some sort of pillow or support should I go on a long trip? I'm not asking about the center console. I'm talking about the drivers side door. Thanks in advance
So, I live in southern California and almost never encounter snow. But I'll be traveling to Utah for a few days for vacation. I have the hybrid, so its not AWD and was thinking of getting snow chains to hedge against bad weather. When I was signing off on the paperwork for the truck, I had...
In an effort to salvage the 3d printed piece, I decided maybe I could just superglue segments of a zip tie that is flexible to replace the part the snapped off. After I glued it on and was ready to push the plastic cover, I noticed the safety washer for the outlet I bought was preventing it...
The 3d part finally came in. Looked great, and dimensions were correct, but the top part snapped off. I would not recommend 3d printing and will just drill a hole in the plastic piece that came with the truck.
So, I was a bit torn as to whether to add the 12v panel inside the cubbie like some users have or at the 12v window where you can plug in the pigtail closer to the edge of the truck bed. I understand it is more susceptible to the elements and may interfere if I were to load the truck with...
So, this may sound dense, but what do you use the 12v outlet in the truck bed for? My ford maverick is my first truck, so I'm curious what you would use the 12v outlet in the truck bed

I just installed the nilights and it was very doable especially for a novice like myself. I will admit that I felt uncomfortable allowing the wiring to be exposed under the car, so I used a covering I bought from Amazon. I bought the ten foot long trim and even had about one foot left over...
So, on the driver's side, there's a small area at the top of the truck bed that leads into the brake light area. Is that where you fed it to become accessible to the truck bed?
Where would you put the switch that comes with the nilight itself? Some people have said at the 12v plastic entry in the bed, but I feel like that is going to stick out and get in the way if I put a lot of things in the bed. Maybe on the driver's side near the top? Amy ideas would be helpful...
I bought the front and rear dash cam with installation and tax for just over $400. I know I could install myself, but like the peace of mind and warranty of knowing that the dealership is installing it. I asked around at different car audio places how much it cost and was told $100-$150 per...
I've been looking at that one, but some people on Amazon were complaining that it drained their battery when it was on "parking mode". Not sure what that is, but after a day or so, it would kill their battery. Have you experienced that?
Also, I'm looking to get it professionally installed vs...
I've been looking at different threads about dash cams. I noticed that the Thinkware 200 is a popular one. I believe it's the one Ford offers, but you can get it at BestBuy for about $150. Does anyone have experience with dash cams? Which ones you liked and didn't like?
Also, I've gotten...
