*** I agree. My Mav exceeded my expectations and is enjoyable to drive. I don't really consider it a 'truck' because of the size and utility practicality. I bought the Hybrid because I have two Silverado's when I need muscle and I can just enjoy this one for commuting or hauling light...
Your question is why we even have forums like this......to learn. I am only two weeks into ownership but I did go ahead and purchase a 12v jump box from Harbor Freight for $59. It fits nicely under the rear seat with a little padding. I hope I never need it but I am prepared. I do not live...
Flip it. Take the cash. You should be able to get $35 - $36k for it. Since you have a Lariat coming take the $8,000 profit and sit out for a few more months.
Back in May when the '23 order date was announced the 8/2 was for EcoBoost and then 8/15 was for Hybrid. So, now you can order either on 8/2? (Forgive me if this has already been answered)
Understanding you may not be able to take delivery of your 2022 Maverick order, we will be making a special private offer discount available beginning in August to those customers whose orders go unscheduled.
*** Well, that pretty much answers the question of will there be a significant price...
You want to at least work up an order online. That is a cheap education before you head to a FORD dealership. I worked mine up last year and then sent it to a couple of dealers. I got their price over email and proceeded from there. The last thing you want to do is walk into a dealership...
If your dealer is ordering a Maverick for you, that is not possible until 8/5 and 8/15/22 as I understand it. Just wait until you can do it yourself. Build it, print it out, and shop it at a few dealers. Decide who....and get it in airtight writing - including (especially) any dealer addons...
Well, the central Texas Maverick stork finally arrived. Picked up my XLT Hybrid this week. 351 day gestation period but the luxury of time was on my side. I am definitely enjoying it so far and peg it as the perfect vehicle for my commute and lighter payloads. My other steed is a Duramax...
**** Same here. I have always avoided warranties but went with one on my Hybrid. There is too much unknown and I doubt I will be able to get much done under the hood myself. My dealer wanted $3400 for 7/100k, $100 ded. premium warranty. I went through Granger (again) and got it for $1150.
***This is an EXECELLENT reminder. You do not have to purchase the warranty while sitting in the finance office. (It doesn't even start until 3/36k) You should drive the car first then decide. No, do not believe his BS that the price is special for today only. That SAME warranty will gladly...
Careful with Autonation in Texas, I know more than mine have a mandatory add on like paint protection, ceramic, tint, etc around $1k.
I told my dealer not to tint the windows or touch the paint on my Mav (if I ever get it that is). I want to do a ceramic after market seal and any add-on...
**June Allocation Update**
We received allocation for June of 58 units, this is a nice sizeable jump from our May allocation numbers and Ford has announced that they are allocating the rest of the 2022 model year of Maverick trucks by age of orders and 100% by retail demand. This is a great...
