I have the muslogy one and I love it. No problems with it. it is much cheaper than the OEM Ford one which is $65 and it does the same exact thing.

Definitely remove them from the Maverick before you paint them. or you could get them Powder coated black. Costs more but it will last longer than paint. and Please don't plastidip your wheels. I have done it. It won't last a year. It's terrible to remove.

I would definitely try to fix the cause of the issue but check out my forscan spreadsheet as you can disable the seatbelt menu and chimes completely or change the way it behaves so it actually goes away when only the driver buckles.
