Man.. I almost regret getting the Hybrid now and not getting the ecoboost. I just assumed the MPG wasnt that good so I didnt go for it. Thats totally reasonable for a AWD vehicle IMO based on what you are saying.
It is tough, its just not a trailer queen like some folks want to treat their trucks. Im positive its not going to BREAK, it might scratch, but does that in any way affect the functionality of the vehicle? The bed is SUPER tough, but Im sure if I drop 1500lbs of bricks in it like the commercial...
Yes it does, thats literally the point of cheap, if something is the CHEAPEST of a category, its literally cheap. I dont go to walmart and buya $20 POS bike and then complain it doesnt have the quality of a $1000 mountain bike.
ROFL what an incredibly stupid thing to focus on. Bad taste to be a fan of firearms or have a picture of himself shooting as his profile picture? Calling him Rambo?
Only thing that bothers me is they tested it and said it was fine, so what more can I do at this point? I could out of my own pocket go buy a new battery, but I shouldnt have to do that on a brand new vehicle.
Its not wrong, and can go into my 1978 ford pinto which has original interior and guess what, scratches easily too, its a PINTO, built to a price, and is cheaper and lesser quality than the F150 of that time. It literally IS WHAT IT IS.
I absolutely love my Maverick, but in no way would I ever...
THe guy had a LEVEL on his tailgate. For crying out loud, thats ridiculous. It isnt going to be that level of precision. Even in production I can say for a fact the tolerances wouldnt be good enough for that with a unibody car and everything.
Jeez guys, I love the Maverick too, but its a CHEAP TRUCK. Literally the cheapest truck in the USA I think. Not a trailer queen. Its not going to be made of the best materials and it just is what it is. IE "You get what you pay for". Someone said this in one of the reviews about the Maverick but...
THIS! I figured this out the other day. Once I get to cruising speed now, i intentionally lift my foot off the pedal and then back on, and it goes into all electric mode. I swear this seems like a software bug though.
Since you are replacing it anyway, and I assume it is ABS plastic, cleaning with acetone might be an interesting test. i use it when 3d printing to clean up/smooth out plastic.
