If I got the 3400 offer, I would just break even on my XLT hybrid with lux pack it looks like... primary change that bothers me is I would end up with the drop in bed liner rather then the spray in bed liner. Thats a pretty minor issue though and one easily fixed once I get the truck.
I hope its good, my XLT hybrid lux with spray in liner went from $27k to $31k and got the spray in removed to boot. I'm going to walk if the offer does not cover the increase. $4500 ($500 to cover line-X) is too big a pill to swallow.
2023 order was a Hybrid XLT lux with spray in bed liner. Cannot get that combo now since the lux comes with a drop in liner too. Not a big deal, I can get LIne-X like I did on my current truck. Order went from about 27k to about 31k without spray in liner.
I reordered my 2023-2024. If Fords promised buyer protection does not cover the full difference I will walk away from the order though. I'm not paying an additional $4500 for nothing.
Not sure if anyone has said this before, but very few oil filters are rated for over 10k miles (there are some). Makes me think the oil change interval are more dependent on the filter being used, rather then the actual oil.
I just noticed Pennzoil is doing the $20 rebate for 10qt purchase deal again. Not sure if someone already shared this, but it ends up being about $30 for 10qt of platinum synthetic after the rebate when purchasing from my local walmart.
I'm not affiliated or anything, just sharing a good deal...
My wife saw one for the first time last week. She turned to me and asked why it was not red. To my confused face, she said it should be red, because the truck had Santa Clause written on the back :ROFLMAO:
Eco mode just increases regen. It might lower responsiveness slightly from the electric and gas motor too, but its not much if it does. Eco mode also keeps you in electric mode a little longer at lower speeds. Its likely the couple MPG difference you saw was related to grade of the road or wind...
Yeah, short of getting the seats reupholstered the comfort issue does not seem like it will just magically disappear. I did read somewhere that the lariat seats have a little more cushioning in them then the XL/XLT. I also heard some say that the heated seats inserts made the chair...
good point, they would have to make it illegal to drive on tires past their rated life. Think of all the ticket revenue!
Honestly though I would be thoroughly against something like this. The gov already taxes electricity, as gas usage drops, electricity usage will increase. There is really no...
I have always felt that if anyone is caught driving while using their phone in hand, the same penalties as drunk driving should apply. points, lose license, possible jail time etc... its the only way people will take this seriously.
I believe the OP said he was at a complete stop, so regen/brake light should not have been an issue.
I suspect the unibody nature of this vehicle is causing a lot more to be totaled. With a body on frame truck you would just replace the bed, assuming no frame damage.
Continental ProContact TX came stock on my XLT. They have a 55k mile warranty. I ended up keeping them, no issues so far with 20k miles on them. Good grip in torrential rain, have not tested them yet in snow...
I don't know if I would say no difference. I'm averaging 43mpg in the summer/spring/fall and about 39mpg in the winter, with about 80-90% of it highway at 65-80mph. Just using normal mode for the most part, no effort to optimize efficiency.
well after that last storm they got, might be slightly justified! Power was out for a couple weeks in some spots. If I recall right it messed up the xylene factories bad enough spray in bed liners were a constraint for the 22 Maverick.
I wonder if they will find a way to tax electricity. You will get a form at the end of the year from the electric company saying how much you paid for the EV tax and if you do not have an EV you get it back in a state issued tax credit.
Its a 110v 400w outlet in the cab. I believe the lux package adds it to the bed as well.
400w is just the max power it can provide. If you look at the wall adapter for your phone charger it will show a wattage output, typically between 1-30 for small stuff, up to 200-300 for a laptop. 400w is...
