I think I would of done the black just even with the headlights. Would of left the front bumper below the grille body colored. Looks like front had a replacement unpainted bumper cover put on it. That's my opinion.

Little late adding reply but better late than never. Leaves and dirt will eventually cause rust. I had a Ford Tempo and the bottom of the fenders rusted. The plastic sound deadner kept the fenders from drying out.
