There may some problem with the lifespan of the shocks utilizing a different part of the stroke but I haven't experienced any bottoming or unusual handling. Occasionally the front springs will "boing" after the suspension has been completely unloaded (jacking etc) but I usually just put the jack...
I had the Snow water/meth kit leftover from a Torque Tech kit I didn't end up using it on and I bought the JB4, wireless connect kit and FSB controller from Burger Engineering. Terry at Burger sent me an email when I ordered that he would be my best point of contact because the Maverick is a...
No increase in MPG. you can turn it off and run in eco mode and still maintain stock fuel economy. I do this when towing because It already gets worse mileage and I don't need the extra performance. I can get about stock MPG on the 1st tune if I'm staying out of the throttle but all of the other...
I've been working on getting everything ironed out with this system and finally yesterday it all came together. This is the first data log with the JB4 and the WMI. I'm happy with the results so far. The JB4 learns as it goes so I expect some of these parameters to smooth out. I have been...
I picked up 2 of them today. Install was super easy. Had to get 4 additional bolts (2 per side). The cubby has 6 bolts and the cover only has 4. Also had to loosen the tie downs to get the cubby to slide into position. I'll use mine for straps, bungies, hitch ball etc.
ET is relative to width. 7 inch wheel with 0 ET has 3.5 inches in (towards suspension) and 3.5 inches out (towards fender). 37 mm is approximately 1 7/16" taken away from outside and moved to the inside. So the stock wheel has 4 15/16 inside and 2 1/16 outside. The stock wheel on the truck has...

After looking everywhere for a place to do a clean install, I settled on the factory washer tank and the front of the passenger wheel well.
Turned out really nice, but I doubt it will be a "remove in 15 minutes" situation if I ever need to.
I decided to put the nozzle in the charge pipe about...
My preference is the stand alone tank. If it has a good cap and is air/fluid tight in the cab behind the seat with the pump there too. If there is room somewhere in the engine compartment, then maybe, but there is already a reservoir. Mine is an XL so I don't have bed cubbys yet (on order). I'm...
The JB4 intercepts the MAP sensor and the IAT sensor and then monitors the CANbus OBDII port to make changes to those intercepted signals to produce additional boost and timing. The FSB wires into the JB4 that has the injection maps for water/methanol mix. It's basically a progressive relay that...
Just received these. The JB4 has a FSB which controls the water methanol injection. The tables are loaded in the JB4 so It's progressive, limits boost if it's not injecting, completely controlled by the JB4 app. I'll probably install Just the JB4 first and then add the Snow kit after. I'll take...
I'm watching for your install. You've done some really nice work on your truck. I'm also interested in knowing how the lower passenger side spring isolator works out.
If I had it to do again I would have gotten one step up dongle to be able to use with Forscan. This one can use Forscan Lite which lets you see everything but not program.
It's Torque Pro with OBDLink LX
I downloaded THIS pid list from Focus RS forum. Half of them don't work. I still haven't got the oil temp to work. It's inferred from water temp anyway. Still cool to play with.
Cat bank 1 sensor 1
Intake air temp
Boost/Vac the red dot shows just over 20psi
Volts
Exhaust pressure bank 1
I changed it since then and did 3 or 4 different screens
the last one is Boost & TPS
No, I took the stock wheels off at 38 miles and then sold them as spares except for one I put under the back. This is the closest I came to stock wheels and lowered ;)
