    Hc, co, nox and particulate standards are seperate from CAFE standards.

    First, bet they lost more than 12 Hp. Second, adding backpressure to a Turbo kills HP. Third, particulates from gasoline engines is minimal to non existent compaired to diesels. We are just being pushed into BEV by every means possible.

  9. Do you regret getting either the Hybrid or EcoBoost?

    I love my Ecoboost! I plan on keeping it 100K, so I don't want the complexities of two powertrains and computers. When things start going wrong, and they will, the cost will be out of sight. Simplicity wins for me over FE, the only advantage of the hybrid.

    Welcome to the 2L Ecoboost club. Depending on the axle ratio, we do get some body boom in high gear and engine rpms less then 1500 rpms. The Engine calibrator got the vehicle in high gear as quickly as possible to give us the best Fuel Economy. He or she should probabley have picked 1600 RPM...

    Your Dealer is correct....it does not happen AUTOMATICALLY. Dealer has to apply to Ford to get it rebated to the dealer. Some dealers stick to the origional price and that is what you pay at closing. My dealer charges for the price increase, then applies to Ford for the rebated difference...
