Has anyone used their dealerships online appraisal before? How long was the turn around time? Our Mav order is through LongMac. I filled their trade-in appraisal page and it spit out a generic KBB trade-in value. Naturally I was contacted by someone at the dealership shortly after asking for...
Happy to say ours is due to arrive any day now. I've got to say it does come off as odd that you initially seemed mad about the wait time for a vehicle that wasn't going to suit your needs in the first place. Sounds like the wait did ya a favor and gave you time to come to that realization.
Hey you know that new style small, affordable, gas sipping truck you wanted? How about you ditch that idea and get something that costs more to buy and own but is readily available because the big 3 have been building them for decades.
Sorry you lost your patience 3 months after they started...
I'm far from qualified but I would assume a lot of it is just aerodynamics at that point. All things being the same a truck traveling 75 is going to get better mileage than the same truck going 85+; because air modules don't care, efficiency changes or not.
Ugh this last bit of waiting is excruciating. We've done nearly everything we can do to prep for the buying process. Got pre-approval for financing through our CU last Friday. Yesterday the wife and I spent some time cleaning out and cleaning up the trade-in. Waiting to hear back from the dealer...
I use one called Drivvo. Let's me input everything from fuel stops to maintenance records. Graphs out every metric you could want. All of that info is printable as well, maybe helpful for selling 3rd party later down the line. Not saying it's the best and there may be better options but it's...
I'm being hyperbolic but on the first picture OP took they list "Manufacturer Retail Price" as $47,930. MSRP is not that high, window sticker clearly shows $32,930. It's like a poor attempt to hide the fact that their "nothing added" markup isn't $20k, it's $35k.
Arguments aside nice of them to add $15k to MSRP (false advertising) and a $20k ADM. Trash dealer for idiotic customers. Lord only knows what kind of torturous sales pitch buyers have to go though in the finance office.
It's a crap shoot. My current VW has it on the left, wife's Subaru is on the right. My '11 Toyota had a little stalk on the right side of the column, my '12 VW had a little stalk on the left.
