Sorry for your misfortune but props to you for manning up and reporting what happened in a public forum.
Since others have confessed their faux pasās, about six weeks ago I backed into my brick mailbox leaving for work early in the morning. I dented my tailgate and crunched the bumper...
The OEM Pirelli Scorpion tires on my 2023 FX4 Maverick made it to 42,600 miles. I probably could have made it to 45K but the treads were wearing down and I was leery of driving too much longer on them with winter coming on.
I decided to go with the Falken Aklimate, and stayed with the 225...
I was able to build an XLT similar to what I currently have for my 2023, and I was able to select the FX4. The 2026 is about $5k more than what I paid for my 2023.
Recent picture, or from last fall LOL?? I notice the leaves on the trees are mostly gone. Where I live the leaves finally just turned about 10 days ago, and I'd say we still have 90% of the leaves still on the trees.
That is a nice picture by the way.
Same with my 2023 EcoBoost, apart from my dissatisfaction with the SYNC3 system.
The 2022 Hybrids have unfortunately been disproportionately affected by reliability issues compared to the rest of the Maverick population.
I'm really happy for your guys being able to get your Maverick so soon after ordering.
I ordered a 2023 EcoBoost and had to wait 8.5 months for it to be delivered. Those were the good old days when the order bank was only open for about 4-5 days before Ford shut it down.
Bumping this thread as I will be in the market for new tires fairly soon (1-3 months). Doing my own research as well as browsing threads here on MTC.
One things I do know is that I won't be going back to the Parelli Scorpion ATR OEM tires for my FX4. They've done OK in terms of ride quality...
Do you remember what your mileage was for the previous tank? Thatās just the computer predicting your fuel range based on your previous tank.
Back in May, I rented a U-Haul trailer to bring my sonās stuff home after college. I got like 350 miles on that tankful. On my next fill-up the...
Thanks for your detailed post.
I work in the petroleum industry, and have access to ethanol-free 90+ octane gas. Thatās the vast majority of what goes into my tank. Yesterdayās milestone was achieved on a humble tank of regular 87 octane, standard 10% ethanol from a gas station about 120...
Donāt laughā¦. But yesterday after extended interstate driving, I finally made it past 500 miles on a tank of gas in my EB. I came close two other times but had to stop to fill up.
I usually get 475 miles or so, about 27-28 mpg. Curious what other EB drivers get, especially those with the FX4...
Youāre not wrong about grid demand caused by massive widespread adoption of EVs, but that pales in comparison to the power demand thatās coming from these planned data centers. These data centers in turn are needed to accommodate the computing power of AI.
Echoing what others have saidā¦. Thankful to see the OP was not seriously injured.
Assume thatās the other driver in some of photos(?). Looks like he was mostly unscathed as well.
