Sigh, 7/23 no build date. Lariat Hybrid with 360/adaptive cruse control. It's really painful seeing hybrids ordered after you getting build dates. I understand constraints can cause some shifting around but damn I wish Ford would move to a consumer based first in first out vs the dealer...
Unfortunately they still have some catching up to do... sigh. Oh well every June-August hybrid that gets scheduled theoretically moves mine up the list.
Holy crap I figured Montana would be forgotten about. I ordered my hybrid lariat lux with co-pilot etc on 7/23 so maybe I only have to wait another month and a half for a build date. :)
I called up the dealer I was planning on working with prior to sending the reservation to give them the heads up and find out what I needed to do. I sent them copies of my DL and after a couple of emails back and forth sending signed order forms it was all done in little more than an hour...
I'm totally fine with this model. Last 3 cars I purchased all research was done online before buying, then it was just trying to find which dealer had the car in stock that I wanted and arranging to purchase it and pick it up.
2013 Honda Accord AND a 1999 Chevy K3500. I need a truck for light duty work as I no longer tow anything. Maverick is a perfect replacement for both of these.
Mine too which is why I got the Lariat, Lux package. Curses you Ford for not offering it on the lower trims. ;) Still a darn good deal for all you get.
This will be my first hybrid. Looked at hybrids when I bought my last car in 2013 but the cost differential vs gas mileage improvement would have never broke even for me... I only have 60,000 miles on my 2013.
It was good, I'm still surprised by Ford marketing saying the market is a diverse 25-35 yo, who never owned a truck before. I see a bunch of old guys who've owned trucks their whole life buying this.
2013 Honda Accord 60K miles (his) - daily driver
2017 Subaru Outback 39K miles (hers)
1999 Chevy 1T 132K miles (his) - for "Truck" stuff
Replacing the Accord and Chevy with the Maverick. I just don't need that big of a truck anymore and want the fuel efficiency of the Maverick.
My wife recently got a used 2017 Outback with the Adaptive Cruise and Lane Centering. Prior to using them I would have said meh, gimmick and not thought twice about getting them. After having used them several times, no way I'd ever get another vehicle without them again, especially the...
I'm 55 and am replacing my 2013 Honda Accord and my 1999 Chevy 1T Long Bed Truck with a Cactus Gray Lariat with Lux Package and hybrid engine. Put my $1,000 down and ordered it today. I've never been so excited about a vehicle purchase before.
