Oh for the smaller tie downs? Yeah that wouldn't be a bad idea. Only really planning on using those small ones for my bungee net. Won't be much stress on em with that.
Mainly wanted a way to lock my bikes in the bed that didn't have fasteners that could be removed by unscrewing them. And I have needed an extra anchor point or two in the rear for the bungee net. Should work like a dream for what I need.
Yes, and I did. It was quite easy as the adjuster screws are right on top and easy to get to. The crisp LED cut off line was nice to get accurate and even adjustments.
Had mine since Jan. Lifted right away, 2" level lift by FordRangerLifts.com. Stuffed 255/75R17s on it. Been getting about 23.5 mpg (25.1 before lift/tires). Rubs a tiny bit on the inside firewall at full lock still after some trimming of the pinch welds and fender liner. Can still u-turn and get...
Nope. Just rubber floor mat from local hardware store. I used rivets in most places to secure it. Tried to use existing holes if I could. Once I find some wheels I like I'll probably make something more permanent for the fender liners.
Some people were asking about MPG on my lift install video (see thread). Note: this is with auto start/stop off 100% of the time. So, here's a short video describing MPG after 32" KO2 and lift:
Maverick shares some of the same parts as its big brothers, like, F-150 third brake light, etc. I figured the antenna was also shared. The aluminum stubby antenna I ordered was for a 2019-2022 Ranger. It came with a M6x1.00 threaded adapter. It also came with a smaller M5x0.80 threaded stud...
The fender liner sticks out up to an inch in some places. If you could find a 255/70R17 that would probably give you enough clearance to not have to mess with the ECU like I did.
Not many wheel options now. I plan on getting different wheels with a little more negative offset. Hoping to get about 1/2" to an inch of poke eventually.
Don't know the exact mileage yet. Haven't flashed the speedo for the bigger tires. Not sure that I will. Speedo reads 5 mph less than actual speed now. I'll have to find a tire conversion to figure out true mpg.
Thanks. Did do it myself. Purchased from FordRangerLifts.com, $550. Pretty basic as far as lifts go. Hardest part was making the 255/75R17s fit. 245/60R17s would fit without rubbing.
