I am in N California too, so I needed my insurance policy and a check. My dealer only allowed up to $2,600 of the purchase to be on plastic, so since I put more down, they said to bring my checkbook. So make sure you have transferred whatever you will put down to your checking account ahead of time.
Have you removed the hardware to take it out and snap it back in firmly yet? When I installed LEDs, I had to firmly push in til I heard a snap. There are a couple youtube videos of folks showing how to remove and reinstall when they replaced their bulbs. 2randomscrubbs...
When the tailgate is locked, the tonneau cover with latches in place can't be opened without someone cutting into it, so in that sense it does lock. I have same one that comes on the FE.
For bed tie downs, Amazon sells the same ones - to add to top near tailgate missing from the XL; and RefinedTruck sells a bed rail with two adjustable tie downs on each side. Theirs doesn't require removing the fixed tie down near the cab that the Ford part requires (so you gain rather than...
No way the antennae would cause a hole in this, but it has curved the antennae - just makes it looks like I drive really fast. Doesn't affect the reception, nor does it bother me. There is a stubby (shorter) replacement antennae if it bothered someone else. Someone on YouTube showed the stubby.

I personally like the soft trifold for ease of removal, it locks, and no added siderail hardware...
Here's my recent reading with mostly hwy driving on my AWD. You may want the EB with the larger gas tank if you do mostly hwy driving, as you won't get the hybrid mpg advantage and would have to fill up more often with the smaller tank of the hybrid.
My EB battery died at 1500 miles. I only drive on weekends and I think the Ford Pass app drained it during the weekdays it doesn't get driven. Turned off the app (in the car) and have not had an issue in 2 months.
For the ones closer to the cab, some tonneau covers have drain hoses that go into those holes.
I think those closer to tailgate are for a bedlighting accessory.
Check that a soft rolling replacement will lock... not sure there is one on the market that does. I too had trouble releasing and reattaching the soft fold lock brackets (woman in mid 50s), but I practiced a bit, repositioning myself and using both hands. You may want to splurge on hard rolling...
Go on Amazon. Little $20 device that blinks when motioned sensored and makes a noise we can't hear but sounds like a jackhammer to rodents. They come in wall plug in, 12volt car battery plug in (wire wraps around your EB battery) OR what I have, AA battery rechargeable. One charge lasts 45 days...
