Update. In order to remove the HVAC module you just need to pry the trim away, there are 4 clips holding it in place 2 on the left 2 on the right.
Here is the wire harness plug with missing pins that I'm aware of, not sure if someone elses higher level trim with heated stuff has more wires in...
Hello. I have a Hybrid XL and looking to add heated steering wheel and heated seats, ambitious I know. I purchased a 2020 Escape heated steering wheel with adaptive cruise control, CC is working great btw (regular not adaptive... yet!). So the clock spring doesn't have enough pins, which means I...
This thing is annoying and actually hinders the ability to change drive mode while it's up. So I have to manually hit ok 2 or three times for all the popups and then I can change the drive mode. Absolutely unecessary.
Using Forscan 2.3.47.test20220307 with no hex code modifying, just lists with choices:
Left - #18 - LB5T-9E740-A*
Right - #1 - H1BT-14K147-A* / LB5T-9E740-D*
Thanks for everyone else's hard work, I got my cruise control working with ease! I ended up with a 2020 Escape leather wrapped w/heated and adaptive cc wheel. Even though I can't yet use the adaptive, CC still functions fine. I did need to use a different left switch code in the SCCM via trial...
Which Ford Parts site are you referring to because I cannot find a site with Maverick clock spring information. I did find a clock spring part # for the Escape with heated steering wheel GN1Z-14A664-E which shows compatible with a number of vehicles including the Bronco Sport So I'm guess this...
Do you know the part# for the clockspring to enable the heated steering wheel on an XL Hybrid? I can get the HVAC module, just not sure about the clockspring.
Hello. XL hybrid here looking for some XLT rims to compliment my steelies with winter tires. Would accept rims+tires if necessary and can drive a certain distance if worth it.
Awesome to hear fuel gauge is working. How about warning lights for missing features, and drive mode changing? I like to use slippery in winter conditions here and eco as much as possible instead of default. I forget, is your Mav hybrid? I may pull the trigger on this.
Very interested in this thread. I have a Hybrid XL and will jump on this 100% assuming the mode selector and fuel level gets addressed. I wish my local junkyards had some Escapes.
