  1. 2025 2.0 Eco won't start, runs poorly, and dealer is keeping now over 2 weeks for "diagnostics."

The good news is that when it is resolved, Ford will have paid for all parts and labor as it is under warranty in full. Also, this may be a one-off and this seem like a very unusual issue.
  2. Giveaway: If you could add one feature to the Maverick, what would it be?

I would love to see a retro two tone paint scheme. If well done would look so sharp.
  3. 2025 Hybrid AWD Cruise Control / Automatic Braking

I would never buy a Toyota. Stick with the ever reliable and American owned Ford, Lincoln, Mercury.
  4. Is this another recall? Engine failure

Yes, an older one. The fix is available and on my PHEV Corsair it is complete with no issues.
  5. Maverick National "For Sale" Data: Is the Hybrid Lariat becoming extinct?...

Yes, true. The Lariat is more expensive. But I think it looks better, trim and such, and most of the options I wanted were standard on the Lariat. Like most of my vehicles over the years, I tend to buy, keep, and enjoy them for many years. Comfort and quality along with useability are major...
  6. Cold Starts and Multiple Hybrid Engine starts

Excellent. I love it when there are no issues and we can just drive and enjoy. My FLM products have been good to me.
  7. OEM tires didn't last

Goodyear is one of the few USA made tire brands, not 100%, but mostly.. and that appeals to me. I am hoping in the future that Ford brings back to US soil it's made in Mexico vehicles.
  8. Cold Starts and Multiple Hybrid Engine starts

Yes, I did watch the video. And I certainly agree that Mobil 1 is a good oil. I simply prefer to change oil at old school intervals and put fresh clean oil and new filter in every 3K. Been doing this since new on my 2017 F150 King Ranch 3.5 as well. It has 40K now and no issues and runs great.
  9. Cold Starts and Multiple Hybrid Engine starts

I haven't received my Hybrid yet but I plan to do what I've always done. I change my oil at least every 3K miles. And typically use the factory recommended oil while under warranty and use a synthetic oil after the factory warranty runs out. Regular oil and filter changes as well as air filter...
  10. Cold Starts and Multiple Hybrid Engine starts

Good info. I would assume that Ford did loads of their own research and whatever oil is recommended for the Maverick Hybrid should address all the known issues as well. Might be good research to ask FORD.
  11. OEM tires didn't last

Interesting. Continental tires are usually good tires. However, my F150 King Ranch came with Goodyear Wranglers and they have been excellent tires. When I have to replace the tires on the Maverick, I'll probably get Goodyears.
  12. Maverick National "For Sale" Data: Is the Hybrid Lariat becoming extinct?...

Very interesting. I don't think Lariat's are becoming extinct, just less in demand because of the increased cost. But also, it could be that most of what has been and is ordered gets sold so less Maverick Lariat's are sitting on dealer lots.
  13. What was/is your wait time for your order?

I just got my VIN and can now track my truck. Ordered March 24, 2025 and the build is scheduled for June 23, 2025.
