The good news is that when it is resolved, Ford will have paid for all parts and labor as it is under warranty in full. Also, this may be a one-off and this seem like a very unusual issue.
Yes, true. The Lariat is more expensive. But I think it looks better, trim and such, and most of the options I wanted were standard on the Lariat. Like most of my vehicles over the years, I tend to buy, keep, and enjoy them for many years. Comfort and quality along with useability are major...
Goodyear is one of the few USA made tire brands, not 100%, but mostly.. and that appeals to me. I am hoping in the future that Ford brings back to US soil it's made in Mexico vehicles.
Yes, I did watch the video. And I certainly agree that Mobil 1 is a good oil. I simply prefer to change oil at old school intervals and put fresh clean oil and new filter in every 3K. Been doing this since new on my 2017 F150 King Ranch 3.5 as well. It has 40K now and no issues and runs great.
I haven't received my Hybrid yet but I plan to do what I've always done. I change my oil at least every 3K miles. And typically use the factory recommended oil while under warranty and use a synthetic oil after the factory warranty runs out. Regular oil and filter changes as well as air filter...
Good info. I would assume that Ford did loads of their own research and whatever oil is recommended for the Maverick Hybrid should address all the known issues as well. Might be good research to ask FORD.
Interesting. Continental tires are usually good tires. However, my F150 King Ranch came with Goodyear Wranglers and they have been excellent tires. When I have to replace the tires on the Maverick, I'll probably get Goodyears.
Very interesting. I don't think Lariat's are becoming extinct, just less in demand because of the increased cost. But also, it could be that most of what has been and is ordered gets sold so less Maverick Lariat's are sitting on dealer lots.
Just beautiful. Exactly what I ordered March 24, 2025. Still waiting for a VIN to be assigned so I can track the progress. Looking forward to getting mine. Congratulations to you.
