My truck is the Lariat Hybrid AWD with the 4K tow package. I have not towed anything with it yet but wanted to have the option to tow heavier if needed. As for performance and economy as well as driveability, I enjoy my truck. Maybe just keep and enjoy. Look towards 2026 or 2027 for the upgrade...
Yes, I also like the upscale look of the white letters and the white around the Ford emblem. I couldn't decide and went with the black. I like it too. Hard to decide sometimes.
Yes, EPB would be new to me but I'm willing to give it a try. I assume the front would wear out first so I will likely be doing front brakes first. Glad to know it is relatively simple.
Very good, thank you. I will try today to re-install the bracket. The instructions didn't say to re-install it or maybe I missed that part. Either way, I never tried but will now. Thanks again for posting.
I'm quite aways from needing brakes with only 125 total miles on my MAV. However, over the remainder of the year I'll be putting on miles. Whenever I do need brakes I will look into EBC or PowerStop options.
Question: Noticed you reinstalled of the dealer re-installed the metal bracket with the tailgate lock. I installed my tailgate lock per instructions, had to remove the black bracket on this side, and I don't remember the instructions saying to re-install the bracket. Do you have any clearance...
So to add my experience, I added my 2025 Lariat to the policy for my other two vehicles; a 2017 F150 loaded King Ranch, my wife's 2022 Lincoln Corsair. The premiums went up from $87 monthly to $141 monthly. I use USAA.
Agree. I did in fact pay 40K for my Lariat AWD Hybrid. And that is about 10K more after 4 years but with much updated tech and of course the AWD/Hybrid combo. So agree, I don't think most or any manufacturers want to try to compete. SYNC 4 works great as well.
Now we have a new truck to be thinking about. The "new" all electric truck that Ford says feels like a Ranger but in a Maverick footprint. Coming in 2027. It should be very interesting.
