Only thing I don't like about it is that it requires the gas pedal to start moving forward. But if you live in a hilly area you might really like it.
I like just letting off the brake and the car starting to creep forward automatically.
Yeah, this part didn't make sense to me. Most shops have some type of dummy plug that imitates a trailer. Running lights, brake lights, turn signals, etc. That they can just plug in and see what works and doesn't. Rather than having to check each pin one at a time.
After all, if the vehicle...
Have a 22 Lariat. Part of me had some buyers remorse due to the cost and I didn't think I really 'needed' the extras with the Lariat. But having it three years now, I have to say that I really am glad I got it.
The primary reason was the fake leather seats. With my job, I get dirty and it's so...
And it would just be a software update of some kind. Things like: turn off cruise. Turn on flashers. Honk horn. Just as the VW ad showed. Don't even need to do the drive to shoulder thing. Just something to prevent a catastrophic accident. What if it wasn't sleeping and was a heart attack or...
This might be why. I had a 22 in January 22, and the lady at the BMV that registered it first couldn't find Maverick in the listing (BMV hadn't added it yet I guess), and then had to calculate the truck rating and put it down as a half ton truck. She asked if it was a hybrid and I said it's 'gas...
Could possibly be a bad bead around the tire on mounting OR the valve broke/leaked. But that's highly unlikely. Something in the road poked it most likely. And if it was fine 2 blocks ago, I'm guessing slow driving, if you puncture something at slow speeds, it can leak out all your air fairly...
22 Lariat. Have had this happen a couple times with Android Auto. The entire screen froze, not just Maps.
Two things I noticed: Android Auto wasn't updated (saw this later). And that pressing the screen button to the clock and then off and then back on and it was now unfrozen and back up to my...
Synthetic is better than conventional. That's about it. The viscosity is based on what the vehicle needs. Use that quality, in the right quantity, and use synthetic to last longer.
I know synthetic is more consistent than convention so it doesn't clump, gunk up, and sludge your engine as you...
You do get used to it. Had my Maverick now nearly 2.5 years. I STILL will put it in park by accident, but I usually catch myself before I make a fool of myself. I agree it could have been designed better. I would like it if it had better visual on the display (Lariat) like when switching driving...
Think you solved it. They probably park this and let lights run all day for safety as a work vehicle on the side of the road, etc. The panels keep it charged during the day.
Your most likely boiling off the moisture in the air that is accumulating inside the exhaust after the system cools.
Coolant leaks will have a sweet smell and will be tinted a blueish or greenish hue usually. And it's very rare for a head gasket to ONLY leak coolant into the exhaust. Can...
Already went through one windshield. Got a rock hit RIGHT behind the blacked out assembly above the rear view mirror. Formed a crack instantly from the cat eye. My comprehensive coverage covered it no issue. Just a nuisance. I think if it didn't hit RIGHT there, the rock probably bounces. But...
Every minute you sit at a light, drive thru, waiting line for school pick up etc is counting the minutes up and driving down your MPH.
The people freaking out over 23mph have never calculated their MPH before and are thinking top speeds. I take a 9 mile one way drive that has one small stretch...
The remote start through the app uses cell service. That uses battery power. Eventually the vehicle has to turn it off among other features. That's not a failure in design. It's working exactly like intended.
I park my hybrid outside for a month at a time when I'm not home. Starts every time. The deep sleep engages sometime after a couple weeks usually. Don't bother remote starting to build up the battery. It won't make enough difference.
Been doing this since I got it in January 2022.
