9700 miles and averaging 27mpg without a trailer on. I did notice on long trips with 60mph roads I'm in the mid 30's for average mpg.
About every 1-2 weeks I get the "Service vehicle soon" warning for the gear shift module failure, but by the time I can get to the dealership it's off again and...
June is a much better month for me too. Travel this week and last week then a bit of a lull before more shenanigans.

I mounted mine after less than a day in the cubby. The rattling going around corners was annoying and it takes up so little space tucked up next to the 360 camera housing.

My friend has the bronco sport and I have the MAV with the cap on it and I can tell you that the cargo area in his is significantly smaller than the Mavericks bed.
With the canoe if you don't mind having something sticking significantly out behind the truck you can always get one of those tow...
Sorry for the delayed response I thought I was following this thread but I apparently was not I'm open on the 14th and could come down and meet up and hang out with you guys.
I'd put crossbars on if you want to do that. Otherwise if you don't love your paint and pad it a lot for a short trip it might work. Crossbars would make it easy enough.
In used to using my side mirrors. My F450 doesn't even have a rearview center mount mirror or any rear visibility other than the mirrors. Backup camera works nice if it's not covered though.
To follow up with something mentioned in another thread, the cap is MFG by Leer. If you search it out there is a guy on here who details how to add electric locks to the cap which is really nice. Thinking of doing that this summer.
When cold I find the transmission at slow speeds shifts like it's being done by a poorly aimed sledgehammer. It goes away quickly. The low gears feel clunkier at low RPM to shift around than the high ones, without a display for the current gear it could all be down to skipping gears (2-4...
