Have started to see a number of posts concerning orders placed after mine receiving VIN and production status. Nothing yet concerning my order. My order is for an XLT and the ones receivung better status are Lariat. is it a case of follow the money

Dealer called over the weekend. They had a lariat hybrid coming in and offered a chance to test drive, I took it. It is a step above the XLT I ordered but with the same drive train. I enjoyed the handling the acceleration was very good and the overall ride comfortable. Happy I chose the XLT...

Had a second chat directly with Ford. The only good news this time was they actually found my order. Not like the last time when they could not locate it. Status not changed on order no production date or vin assigned. No clue when and if status will change.. order placed back in September

Getting frustrated by the radio silence from Ford. Made reservation in June placed the confirmed order in September with deposit. just general emails from ford stating delays. No real information provided. Have absolutely no idea when my truck will be scheduled. XLT LUX package and copilot 360.

Nice to know the sales numbers however does not directly help me out. My maverick has been on back order for over 7 months. No indication when I will receive the production notice. The last update was a joke basically saying nothing had changed

Not pleased with lack of timely communication. First communication from ford since before Thanksgiving. Order was confirmed over 6 months ago. I'm beginning to think I'm in the old soviet union
