I was reading the OP post and really did not know 1/2 of what the hell he was talking about. I scrolled down and saw those pics. DAMN!!!!
Now, I understand what he did. That is some serious custom work, and is a true original!!!!!
Like yours, there was a sliding scale $ and I posted the amount I wanted. The buyers sent messages with their offers and or their contact info. I received 4 offers from dealers, and the other 4 were private buyers in 2 days.
I used cargurus to sell my Maverick last week. The buyer works at a local FORD dealer. The process was smooth and simple. Deal was in place through emails. Spoke with buyer over the phone and deal was done the next deal.
No worries. Received an increase offer the next day!! It has been 3 days since I spoke with Carvana, and I was told a manager was going to reach out to me. Not holding my breath for the phone call.
Sold my Silver Maverick today. Placed an add on Cargurus, and had several offers the next day. It had 10k miles and I received $3200 over MSRP sticker price.
Up until the Field Agent arrived, my process was going smooth. The offer and pay out amount was short by exactly $2500. Provided a copy of the agreed payoff deal, and it was a different amount. No deal.
Contacted Carvana, they re-confirmed our deal, numbers, and someone from management is...
DO NOT DEAL WITH CARVANA. I had a confirmed deal for yesterday, 4/12/22. The Field Agent’s paperwork and check was <$2500 then the agreement. I declined the offer and politely asked for my keys.
Transferred rails, hard rolling cover, and tailgait assist from the Silver Maverick. Chapman Auto completed the Rhino Spray in bedliner. Looks good, but will need some time to air out.
