I should update this to reflect that a call to Ford where I spoke to a very well trained and helpful individual who said he would follow up and they should be there within 5 business days. They showed up the 4th business day.

I went thru this with my Maverick, took a couple of tries the first time it seemed to work but the right rear failed to show after about 3 days, redid them and they have been fine for the last 2000 miles.

Well the good news is the supply is better, they do not take a year to get anymore. There are even some starting to show up in dealer stock, mostly cancelled orders.

Impossible to guess. contractor cap weighs what? how much tools do you carry, where do you drive, lots of stop and go or steady state driving. How heavy a foot do you have? Steady state driving, minimal tools and a light foot might pull 25 plus, stop and go, heavy foot, full load a lot less.

Even worst, CT will not test my 2008 f150 as it does not show the odometer reading. They take a picture of it to send to Carfax, no odometer no test. Junked a good running truck this am because of this. Repair estimate was more than truck was worth.

one factor not mentioned is how recently has the station changed its filters, new filters will flow faster, thus more likely to shut off earlier.
