Well my dealer already told me mine wasn’t getting built so he cancelled it he says. I have a really crappy dealer.

Supposedly the gov was going to authorize higher alcohol fuel for this summer to ease the gas situation. If you filled up with that stuff unknowingly it gets less mpg. That could be the issue. Just a thought.

At least you have a chance. My dealer says he cancelled all hybrid orders. He cancelled mine I guess or someone did.

I went to the dealer today and met with the general manager and person who does ordering for the dealership. They tell me that the regional manager told them to cancel all hybrid orders because they would not be built until MY 23 if not yet scheduled. They have said ford cancelled the orders...

So I sent a request to help by sending a message to ford on Facebook. This way I was able to provide proof of my order confirmation and other ford email which I could not do by calling the phone number. This has been my most successful action to date. They escalated it to the specialized...

Thanks Porveytte. I’m a Corvette guy too. Owned 7 of them. Mostly 1972 - 1968 and 84s. Currently have a 89 Convertible dad bought in 96.

Whatever profit it is, neither the dealer nor Ford seem to be motivated to figure out why my order is missing. Basically neither seem to think it’s a big deal. Just order a MY 23 but I’ll miss price protection and probably have to wait close to another year from now.

I’ll just say that my Oct 9 Maverick order is gone and as far as I know, neither Ford nor the dealer are looking into why it happened or how to correct it. At this point I would be satisfied just to reinstate my order so I could be at the front of the line for MY23. I almost hate to buy a Ford...

So I’m having a similar experience but supposedly my order has totally disappeared. Ford says if cancelled it should still show up in the history. I ordered Oct 9 and had also called due to knowledge of ROVP issues. So did your order disappear as in they have no record of it at ford like mine?

If you will look earlier in this thread there are screenshots. One thanked me and confirmed my order was placed with my dealer. The other called me by name and stated that builds were slow due to constraints.

Tried Ford again today. Same old song and dance. No progress. They want to put the work back on my dealer. My dealer isn’t motivated to figure it out which makes me wonder if they know something. Again per ford, my order was not cancelled. It’s as if it never existed. They don’t care to see...

Thanks for the info. I’m near giving up. Trying to keep on keeping on but no interest in helping from Ford or the Dealer.

Final comment. I thought I made a reservation with Ford to order a Maverick and chose a dealer only as a matter of convenience. If that’s really what got me, it’s a problem that ford confirmed my order with the other dealer. Which is the one and only order I placed. One other person at Ford...
