I ordered my 2.0 awd xl in June and I'm still waiting. It's currently in production so I'm hoping by mid November to have it.

This looks great, I wanted to do this myself, but I have never painted wheels before. I am worried it will look like crap.

I like the look. I've been looking around for some take offs but haven't had much luck. I really like the black and gun metal bronco wheels. I may just wait until more people have mavericks and see if I can find xlt take offs. I definitely want to get rid of my steelies lol.

Looks great but I'm curious about tire rub? I'd like to do something like this to my XL. Just want to confirm no issues, I have no intentions of adding lift kit or anything like that.

I will also be interested in purchasing XLT wheels for my XL, but I'm not quite ready to purchase yet. I hope more people are looking to do this in the future!

All bronco sport wheels will work on maverick? I really hate the steelies, that's the only thing I don't like about the XL. I thought about trying to get some XLT wheels through Detroit Wheel and Tire eventually but they said it would be months after truck comes out.

Honestly I don't even know yet lol. I'm wondering if I can get my hands on a set of xlt wheels before I do anything. If not I will most likely paint them. I know there are a few options out there for wheel paint.

I can agree with that. Definitely a love/hate. I think some fresh paint will make them work for me. I wish I could have selected that as an option when ordering though!

I went XL, because I wanted a basic truck. All the extra stuff isn't needed. The only complaint I have is the steelies are ugly. I plan to paint them black so I can live with it.

Stupid question, but I assume you are painting? You couldn't order them black correct? I want to do the same thing, but I've never painted rims before......
