  1. Cubby FITS Slot + Some other 3D print designs

Yep spot on - its the belt clip holding it on there. I figured it was the path of least resistance. I've been driving around with by baofeng in that mount for months and it hasn't moved an inch.
  2. FITS to be tried?

I use tinkercad, which is free in your web browser. I bought an ender 3 from Amazon for $150ish a few years. I printed out and purchased several upgrade parts (auto bed leveler, new bed springs, Bowden tube upgrade) along with octopi. It was certainly fiddly to get set up working the way I...
  3. FITS to be tried?

Thanks man - I'm gonna mark this as effectively done on my end - it's modular, multi function, yada yada. If I was to add anything it would just be screw holes so you don't have to tap your own (or make end caps)
  4. FITS to be tried?

I use it for blender bottles and they friction fit against the sides. It's just an example for fitment since it was the only other thing in the back seat.
  5. Cubby FITS Slot + Some other 3D print designs

Looking good so far - PETG takes a while to get dialed in.
  6. Cubby FITS Slot + Some other 3D print designs

Added some new designs (thingiverse updated) Use any of the phone / tablet / switch mounts. It sits right about eye level with a kid in a booster seat. I left enough play in the crossbar that you can remove it with slight flex against the hooks so you can use the hooks for bags or whatever...
  7. FITS to be tried?

I'll take a crack at this today - tablet holder for kids comes to mind immediately.
  8. Best 3D Printer for Mav and related Constructs?

Yep I call that enderxiety :) I had to upgrade the tubing, temperature monitor, heater core, and print a whole new print head setup for mine before I could print PETG reliably. Now that I have, it's rock solid. Doing it all again, I'd just buy a prusa :)
  9. Cubby FITS Slot + Some other 3D print designs

Slow is smooth and smooth is fast with PETG :)
  10. Cubby FITS Slot + Some other 3D print designs

Thanks man - I am in the process of redesigning the whole cubby system to be modular and much more "professional" in how its functions (no velcro tape) so stay tuned :)
  11. Adding 12V and USB power ports to the bed - installed photo

So for sanity: Doing this on an Ecoboost XLT FWD. I've gotten conflicting information on the 12v runs being hot or not when the engine is off. Are they hot all the time? All the videos I've seen reference the hybrid, which has an extra battery to pull from. My XLT does have the USB / AC outlet...
  12. Cubby FITS Slot + Some other 3D print designs

Agree - once you have pens and a notebook in there you won't see it anyway. Better to use the space then have a dinky little Ford lettering :)
