  2. NO/HYBRID-ENGINES AVAILABLE

I would like to see Mitchell Watts of Town & Country put out a You Tube video response to this. They are a huge outfit on You Tube and he can certainly speak to this. Following along as an interested party. Plan on placing a hybrid order for 2023 MY and spoke with my dealer on Tuesday of this...
  3. Anyone bought a placeholder Maverick while waiting for your ordered Maverick?

Yes I am considering something similar. I want the Lariat Lux hybrid but missed the order deadline. So, I will have to order a 2023 model in August and hope I get it within 6-12 months after the order. So, spoke with my local dealer and after some thought - I think I am going to order a 2022 EB...
  4. Heated steering wheel and seats are awesome

Once you go with a heated steering wheel, you never go back….
  5. This or that?

Tough call. The Frontier is a nice looking truck. I just worry about how much longer Nissan will be in business. You cannot really compare it to a Maverick, it stacks up against the Ranger. I do like that it has a NA V6 rather than a turbocharged engine.
  6. Finally arrived. We LOVE our Maverick. It exceeded all our expectations.

Looking good. Congrats and best of luck with it!

  9. Article: Popularity of Ford Maverick Hybrid pickup a 'big' surprise for the industry, even Ford

So they are surprised that there is demand for a product in a segment they walked away from after the 2011 Ranger faded away? Half ton trucks are now Super Duty sized, mid size trucks are closing in on what half ton trucks used to be and left a gaping hole to be filled for compact trucks… and...
  10. Straddling the Fence - Maverick/Ridgeline

These would be the questions I would ask myself How long do you plan on keeping the vehicle? What purpose will it be used for? How much does cost factor into the equation? Which has better technology? If you will be keeping the vehicle until the wheels fell off, I would go with the Honda. A...
  11. Hybrid Engine Constraint? Wtf

Interesting. I went to Levittown and Newins, Newins was much easier to deal with. Went over all of my options and no pressure. Levittown had two guys tag teaming me. They knew about the product but were a little pushy. Good luck.
  12. Hybrid Engine Constraint? Wtf

I live on Long Island. Which dealer is this?
  13. New Year 2022 Maverick Financing Incentives?

My guess would be any new incentives would be effective 1/4 since most of the existing ones seemed to expire on 1/3. That said, IDK if there will be any for the Maverick but maybe we'll get lucky.
  14. Salesperson of Year

I concur. He has answered numerous questions from me, both on his livestreams and through PM’s on this site. He deserves a lot of praise for all of the great information and service he provides us here. Thank you Tim, have a great 2022!
  15. Who else bought 2 Mavericks?

Smart move and wish I had done this myself. Nothing wrong with this at all, I think it is a genius move. Happy New Year!
  16. Seeking feedback: FX4 or 4K?

Get both. I always want more truck than I need. 4k tow is a no brainer in my opinion and while FX4 is more subjective, I'd spring for it based on the value. Good luck and Happy New Year!
  17. Maverick Travel Trailer Towing and 1300 Mile Review

Excellent feedback and review. First hand real life owner experience. Keep us in the loop going forward and best of luck with the truck. Happy New Year!
  18. New England Hybrid Maverick

    Congrats! Looks great.
  19. $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford

I am contemplating the exact same thing. Get the EB now and trade for a hybrid. I cannot see a huge hit in depreciation in the current market. Good luck!
