I had ESP through Flood Ford on my '19 F150. Good price and got a rebate on the unused portion when I traded it. I'll do that with the Mav if I still have it when the 3/36 is up.
I'm from the days of 6V systems and cars with ammeters. It was good practice back then to fast idle the car with the electrical load minimized until the ammeter dropped down to almost neutral before shutting it off. I still do that today but for 15 seconds or so. It helps prolong battery life if...
Here in the Lehigh Valley PA there are a bunch of places named The Car Wash On XXXXXXX. The one I went to was staffed by only one person whose job is to guide you into the entrance. After that it.s sit back and wait. You use a selection screen to choose your wash and payment is made with CC or...
My '19 F150 had a Truxedo X15 Pro rollup that was dealer installed. Nice cover but there were small leaks.
My Mav has the factory softy and it goes thru high pressure car washers and comes out dry. I like it.
I bought an ESP premium plan from Flood Ford in Rhode Island for my '19 F150. They were priced similar to Granger. I got a refund from them with no hassles for the unused portion when I traded it.
Mine says %full, no DTE anymore.
And, when I just opened it the app said Vehicle Is On when it was actually parked in the garage. When I hit the Open Door button it did work and then the status changed to Vehicle Parked
Same here. If I don't want A/C I just hit the Upper outlets button and the other day the A/C started up after a few minutes. The A/C light was out and pressing it had no effect. Turned it off, started on Auto and the A/C button acted normally.
I've had several occurrences where I found the doors locked when I tried to enter. But yesterday I had an unexpected locking incident when I exited the Mav with the keys in the cup holder. If I set the lock and exit that way the doors will unlock. This happened when I got out with the doors...
I had a '23 Outback XT that I kept for less than a year. A '19 F150 XLT before that.
I missed the F150 but it was too big and inconvenient for our aging selves. I thought the Outback would be a good replacement but I never fell in love with it. Poor gas mileage and oh, that horrible CVT.
The...
I have a little over 1000 now. My first measured fillup was ~275 mi of local driving and measured 23.5 and the meter said 23.5.
The second measured fillup was ~725 mi which included 300 miles of freeways and measured at 25.5 but the meter read 27.4. There were 2 small topoffs before the second...
If you can run your A/C with no decrease in mileage you're violating the second law of thermodynamics. It's a tribute to modern engineering that the newer units use so little energy. They weren't like that 50 years ago.
I got the impression that the OP was trying to run the dual zone set to 60 on one side, 80 on the other, and was disappointed because he wasn't getting cold and hot air out of the appropriate outlets.
GM cars used to have the auto select with P-N-D-L-R order so it would be easier to rock the vehicle out of a stuck in mud or snow condition.
I stopped the engine of my Mav in D once and it went to P by itself.
When I was young there was a comic, Brother Dave Gardner, who was from the south. He...
I had a newer Subie Outback and they look like 1/2 of the body is covered in black plastic. Guys in their forum recommended 303 Aerospace Protectant and that's what I use on the black trim...
