Yeah, customer service told me my order was in "Order Processing" and that I'd get an email from Ford within 7 days of my order date. I haven't gotten anything from Ford except from the Dealer, I got a "Preview Order" sheet.
When I called and asked about COVP and ROVP, the guy on the phone...
The dealer should have given you a Preview Order F### sheet. That F### number is the dealer code. The Sales Code on the sheet, F##### is your order number. Call Ford Customer Service with those two numbers to confirm your order is in.
On the sheet, there are two numbers, the first one, "Preview Order F### is the dealer code. The other is the Sales Code which is F#####. This is your order number. Those two numbers are needed if you call Ford Customer Service about your order.
Call ford customer service with that 4-place dealer code and your order code that starts with "F". They'll tell you if your order is in processing or not.
I use this feature all the time. I go into a couple areas where connection is spotty. Plus, using this keeps the phone from having to constantly connecting just for map data which keeps the phone running cooler. Glad you mentioned this - it's an almost hidden feature on Google Maps.
dealer roulette? What do you mean? Not picking on anything but I don't know what that is. Did Ford allocate by spreading out builds to dealers? I'm the first (allegedly) at my dealer which could let me win the figurative lottery here... Thanks
My dealer tried to put my order in the minute the order bank opened. No joy. I waited around for a good while. Still, no joy. This morning, when they got to work, the order guy got all of our orders to go in. Since my salesman is out till Sunday, they told me it'd be Monday before I get the...
My dealer said they'd most likely open the order bank at 5pm Central like they did last time. Further, he doesn't expect the order sheet till around 2pm. Standing by for his call should that change.
How many people ordered a '22 on the first day and are still waiting? I'm sure there are some unfortunate souls but I really hope not. If there aren't, it would be educational to know when the last day-1 order was filled.
Really? That's a long time for delivery. Surely the very first order will get delivered within 12 months. Even as 5,000 per month, they should get the '22 backlog delivered by February (5 months of production and 1 month to deliver the ones made in January. Then, it shouldn't take Ford more...
True. I try not to cherry pick and use multiple sources (preferably peer-reviewed research) but as an analyst, I may be an exception. As a human, I DO look for things that reaffirm my own personal beliefs. But, don't we all do that to an extent?
Wait... how does a vehicle that literally creates carbon every single time it is started ever become carbon neutral? LOL
