  1. Maverick in Velocity Blue with SnugTop bed cap ... rear visibility not great (feedback review)

I agree completely. I had a Nissan Frontier with cap and now a RAM 1500. Never made a major visibility issue straight out the back window. I think you’ll see better designs to come.
  2. Impressed with FX4 factory Pirelli Scorpion tires in the snow (feedback / review)

The Pirellis are certainly a decent tire and I’m sure do fine in snow. I replaced mine with Falken Wildpeaks mostly for a more aggressive look and more dirt traction. I have the Falkens on my RAM and Subaru. My wife is used to AT tires and commented on why did the stock tires look so small...
  3. New software update??

I have this problem with my XLT as well. Bluetooth to my wife’s iPhone 12 disconnects every 10 minutes or so and then reconnects. The phone works well over Bluetooth in our other vehicles. I’m hoping an update corrects this eventually. Fortunately Apple CarPlay works great.
  4. On Road & Offroad Review of Maverick FX4

I put those same Falken 235 Wildpeaks on my XLT FX4. Great tire and not much nosier than the crap stock Pirellis. Discount Tire gave me $160 credit for the Pirellis, which was better than nothing. When I ordered I didn't know about the option to add the Falkens or I would have upgraded, but I...
  5. Black tailgate lettering on Cactus Gray

Looks great! I hope a matte black alternative comes to market although the plastidip looks good. My cactus gray I’m hoping arrives next week!
  6. No More Spray In Bedliners (says dealer) ?

First day I ordered a cactus gray XLT FX4 non-lux with the spray in liner as an option. In mid-September I dropped the spray in and the truck was scheduled for a build date the next day. It’s shipping now and hopefully will arrive in a few days. The drop in liners are horrible. They need to...
  7. Did you pick FWD or AWD Maverick and why?

I decided years ago to only buy AWD/4x4 vehicles. It’s not worth the trade off dealing with the winters we get on the backside of the Wasatch. It might mean the difference between not making it home over the pass or much worse. With my daughters driving the extra cost is worth it. Plus I like...
  8. How to Order a 2022 Ford Maverick and get it Scheduled - from Tim Bartz

I ordered an ecoboost first day in June and was not scheduled until the sales guy called me back a few weeks ago and asked for my drivers license. I think ID is important. I also removed the spray in bed liner. My build date is 10/18 however I’ve never received a single email. I suspect the...
  9. 25 MPG for Maverick EcoBoost 2.0L AWD, 1 MPG Less Than FWD

I’m tickled with the MPG of the 2.0. Replacing a 262 hp Nissan Pathfinder that gets around 15 mpg combined. For me, AWD, towing, and power for high altitude mountain passes are crucial. I’ll be saving 40% on fuel, which at current prices is around $120! If I lived in California at sea level and...
  10. đź“« 9/2 Scheduling Email Received Group!

Late to the thread, however my dealer just sent me a text to let me know I’m scheduled 10/18 for a 2.0 XLT with AWD FX4 and tow! Cactus gray. No luxury package. I did not receive an email and had given up hope for this week. I haven’t received any emails from Ford at all. Ordered 6/10 in Utah...
  11. [Update: No scheduling on 8/19] Maverick Scheduling for Week of 8/16 [Update: No scheduling on 8/19]

I ordered a 2.0 XLT FX4 with tow at the dealership the first day reservations opened up. I just heard back today from my sales guy Ford wouldn’t schedule without a copy of my drivers license, which I promptly sent him. Is this true and did my dealer screw this up? It is a small town dealership...
