As of right now we’re only offering our standard 2-layer (a zinc primer + silver powder coating) option for those skid plates which are not visible underneath (e.g. on Maverick).
Certainly, the skid plate is lightweight and can be easily installed while crawling beneath the vehicle. Simply slide the rear end slots onto two bolts, and then secure the front end with two additional bolts and insert nuts.
For many years, our insert nuts have proven to be effortless to utilize across numerous RIVAL skid plate models. Including Bronco Sport, F150, and many others in other car brands (Subaru, Toyota, Jeep etc)
We opted not to cover that area because we didn't find any components in that area that needed protection. That would also add complexity to the production process; given that our operations involve producing over a hundred thousand skid plates per month, streamlining the process is essential.
As of today, none of RIVAL products had to be OKed by Ford or Jeep or Toyota and others. We have some requirements on us in Australia and Europe though. Our resellers such as Real Truck, Extreme Terrain and others sometimes do some own tests and provide the results :like:

Moreover the amount of ventilation present in our skid plate compensate any factory ventilation. Proven by other 500+ skid plates models we’ve been making for different markets including hot deserted ones.
