  1. Rear ended time!

The only reason the Jeep faired well is because of the sturdy brush/bull bar. A strong well made front bar can take lots of abuse and protect the plastic and thin metal of most front ends. Very glad you and your family are OK.
  2. HOW LONG

Talked to sales guy at dealership and he thinks it may arrive today or tomorrow. Here's hoping..

  4. Maverick Down (Totaled), But Very Safe Truck

Amazing pics. The Maverick must be strong and well built. The car is really bad and your truck not as much. So sorry but I suspect you'll get a new one. Glad you are alright.

  7. Brake upgrade (EBC Yellowstuff rotors & pads) for my 2.0

Idea, somebody start a "racing" Maverick project. Hmmm, a "Trans Am" Maverick. interesting
  8. I pulled the trigger on a new trailer.

Yup, a little bit. Many components are made in the US and of course the whole concept and design is US, but indeed, some major components as well as the assembly are Mexico. I don't like it and hope FORD eventually gets out of Mexico and China.
  9. Hybrid "Alternator" replacement question

Good to know that the charging system in the CVT is a well built quality component that is likely to last a very long time.
  10. trading in 2025 hybrid maverick with lariat pkg

I actually though I had seen somewhere that 2025 AWD had a skid plate but I stand corrected. As for suspension, I am referring to AWD Hybrid having upgraded suspension components. True, no alternator in the "belt driven sense" but a high quality charger built into the CVT. It is an upgraded...
  11. 🎉 GIVEAWAY TIME + NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH (Universal Flat Cargo Net) 🎉

Well ok then. I would use the cargo net when hauling items that are too tall to close the tonneau cover. And that usually happens a few times a year to be sure. It's nice that the net and carabiners will stow easily under the rear seat. Good idea. Also, on the armrest cover, for the folks that...
  12. I pulled the trigger on a new trailer.

Yes, sad. I recently learned that a Chinese company bought all of MG. I only buy USA made but it is getting increasingly to find all or mostly USA produced stuff. Trump has a big push to "build American, buy American" but it will take a few years to swing around. But it's coming. Maybe some...
  13. I pulled the trigger on a new trailer.

My trailer does have bakes, electric, and the factory brake controller works well with most trailers.
  14. trading in 2025 hybrid maverick with lariat pkg

Also with the 4K tow package and Lariat you have upgraded suspension, springs/shocks etc., upgraded cooling and alternator, and 7 pin trailer connector. I think a skid plate or two is included with the AWD.
  15. I pulled the trigger on a new trailer.

It could be interesting to see how the Maverick would tow this setup...
  16. '25 Lariat Hybrid w/ 4k tow

Thank you for the view of the timing. Mine was ordered before yours and is still being shipped now for nearly 3 weeks. Hoping soon..!
  17. Has anyone here tried this console safe in their Maverick?

Looks interesting but have not tried it...
  18. I pulled the trigger on a new trailer.

I also have an aluminum trailer. It's a car hauler. Love it. I usually tow it behind my F150 with a 1969 Mercury Cougar on it to car shows a few times every other year. Less weight and no rust.
