I use a RVI Brake II in my Mav. It fits the floor pan and works well. Originally I had it set to small SUV and medium sensitivity. Turned out to be way too sensitive and would enable Mav brakes on even minor MH braking. Now set to mid sized and low sensitivity and seems to work much better -...
Here's a little different take on the subject. I ran across this on a Jeep forum, the discussion was concerning finding the owner of a vehicle in photo.
"I had a kid show up at my door at 2am once. He paid a fee to an online database to get my address from a pic I posted to an urbex forum that...
I guess, maybe. Not sure why people are concerned about this - are you planning on removing the mud flaps? How or why would you care if they come into contact with a painted surface. Here's a couple of pics of the front right mud flap. I put flares on the rear (without paint protection!), so...
I used Ford Pass points and got the Ford flares. Easy install, robust design, Ford logo and best of all no out of pocket money. Just got a set of Mabett fender flares, pretty easy install with the Ford mud flaps (on the rear so far, but front looks similar).
I don't see any need for that kind of stuff in the glove box, but I do have an "Info" tab in my MPG calculator spread sheet that has all of that and more.
Don't hold your breath waiting for any kind of after market bumper. Go to eTrailer.com, look for the Roadmaster baseplate and watch the installation video. The video shows removal of the front fascia which is really the whole front of the truck. About 16 minutes in you will get a good look at...
I also installed Klutchtech struts off of Amazon. Easy, straight forward to install and initially they worked as advertised. Now that the weather has turned cold or the fact they are few months old, they will not hold the hood open. They are pretty much useless! All is not lost. since I do have...
Here's my timeline: (Atlas blue, XLT Hybrid, Lux, moon roof, Copilot 360, BAP, protective front film)
I live near Albuquerque, NM so delivery is pretty quick. My 2023 followed a similar timeline except due to constraints it was delivered almost 1 year from the order date. Shipping time was...
Seems to be a bit of randomness going on in Hermosillo. Here's my time line, makes one wonder how trucks are prioritized for build and shipment. If this goes as did my 2023 XLT it should arrive into Albuquerque via Phoenix in a few days. Note that the truck has a couple of constraint items - BAP...
Yes. Check out this thread, it's easy and the timeout can set to just about anything you want, though it should not be infinite as it could deplete the 12 V battery.

I too got the "we're sorry" email. My XLT Hybrid was scheduled to begin production 12/11, but didn't actually go to "production" until 12/20. I expect it will be delayed even more because I have 2 constraint items: hybrid power train and BAP. I try not to get excited about things I have no...
My topper requirements were similar to yours - affordable, decent looking, sliding side windows, opening front window, and relatively secure. The Ford offering and brands like Leer were out of my price range. I found a Jason Pace Plus topper that met my criteria. www.jasoncaps.com. A local...
Let us know how the Demco install goes. I see that Roadmaster may have a newly designed baseplate that is similar to Demco and does not require removal of the lower Air Shutter assembly. I ran the charge wire from the MH and the 12 V accessory wire to the jump post under the hood. Below the jump...
It's just a personal thing with the 12 V outlet location. I didn't permanently mount it, just used extra strength double sided tape in case I didn't like the location. I did run a hot wire to the battery jump post and a ground to one of the grounding points on the fender. My RVI Brake draws a...
We've completed our 1st trip towing the Maverick. It was great, no issues and no problems. 1100 miles round trip from Albuquerque to Phoenix by way of Sedona and Deming, NM. 4 legs of around 300 miles each less than 6 hrs. I now have a couple of questions: the manual states not to exceed 70 MPH...
I found this one on Amazon for $23.99, it fits well but It doesn't have a logo or anything like that. It rolls up and gets thrown in the back seat when not in use.

Thanks for the info. I was looking at the Roadmaster kit with LED bulbs, but will probably go with an incandescent bulb kit. The LEDs look directional and may not be bright enough when inserted sideways into the lens housing. I agree that the big high up lights on the motor home are most...
I got my Maverick home and was looking at the tail light assemblies, looks like the bulb will have to installed in the side of the housing rather than an empty spot in the rear. I see you put yours in the bottom of the housing, I'm thinking top might be more visible.
