I don't have a Tremor, just a hybrid XLT. This has happened to me only once, and it was some guy in an F-150. No one in a Silverado, Titan, Taco, Ram, or Tundra has done this (yet).
My 2023 Hybrid XLT with BAP, 360, hitch, and moonroof cost $29,670.
The same build now would be $34,505 and includes lux package.
I love my Maverick at $30,000-ish, not sure I'd love it at $35k even with power seats.
I feel like Ford is making a mistake pricing these the way they are.
I just bought the Tip Top a few weeks ago. It was easy to install. Flapping is minimal at 60+ mph. It leaks a little in heavy rain, but I wasn't looking for a completely waterproof cover. Came with weather stripping and a little tap light.
Hybrid XLT:
Roomy interior
Quiet; minimal wind and road noise
No squeaks or rattles
Comfortable seats
44 mpg average; most of my 35 mile commute is interstate
Ice cold AC
The author seems to be taking the Maverick's success as some kind of personal offense. Thankfully, he's getting roasted in the comments on Yahoo, so I don't need to point out how wrong he is about everything.
I've only had my hybrid for a week; my complaints are minimal and petty:
Rear seat should be split 50-50 or 60-40.
Hybrid gas cap release is in an awkward place on the dash.
Petty: Turn signal and wiper stalks feel flimsy compared to my Accord.
Really petty: I don't like the PRNDL showing the...
