  2. Maverick Hybrid Road Tripping!! Almost 2k mile road trip review.

I just returned from a Providence RI to Washington DC and return trip (947 miles counting dinners). Averaged 43.7 MPG for both ways. Found the ride to be comfortable enough. My biggest complaint is the touch screen. Certain sun angles make it impossible to see the screen, which can be...
  3. Senior citizen Maverick owners thread

65 here from Rhode Island. 23 XLT Lux Hybrid Alto Blue. Picked up early April and getting its first oil change next week. First Pickup and enjoy it thoroughly.
  4. 2nd oil change at 9782 miles, and some thoughts

I get mine done at the dealer as part of my purchase price. I have $29.95 oil changes as long as I own the vehicle. And I plan on owning it a long time. My last one lasted 15 years (280K) before I sold it.
  5. Tanker64

    New England Mavericks

I ordered my Alto Blue XLT hybrid in July 22 and received it in April 23.
  6. Best "small truck" insults!?

Mine hauls 2000 lbs. Just enough for my balls.
  7. Tanker64

    New England Mavericks

I love it. 99% dry and I can keep things in the bed without sharing them with the world. Highly recommend. I much prefer the hard cover rollup to the soft versions.

So where are you that gas is sub $3.00? On a good day I can get $3.40 (Rhode Island/SE Mass)
  10. My Maverick has arrived... and damaged

Any damage at all is included. Minor scratches to ripping the roof off by hitting a bridge. (Yes, I've seen it) Any individual driver with a high damage rate (used to be over 1.25% when I was doing this) was sent for re-training; after several re-training events they could/would be fired...
  11. My Maverick has arrived... and damaged

I used to work for a car hauler (back when dinosaurs ruled the planet) and there is no hauler that could stay in business with a 20% damage rate. Most haulers are below 1%; But it happens. The dealer will claim against the carrier and the carrier will pay the claim. It will be invisible to...
  12. Big ford dealerships or small local ford dealership

Ask that your order is directly tied to an existing allocation. Doesn't matter the size of the dealership, only allocations count. No allocation, no truck.
  13. Trifold vs Roll-up Tonneau Cover?

I have the Bak X4R hard rollup cover. Love it. Easy install; easy to use, sturdy and almost zero water intrusion (which I will solve with some weatherstripping around the tailgate this weekend). 2023 XLT Hybrid Lux with 3200 miles.
  14. Best hard rolling tonneau cover?

I have a Bak X4S. Great cover. Fits well, looks great. If you get it, go with the tailgate weatherstrips also.
  15. Rants and Raves after 3,000 miles

I have about 2K miles on mine (Hybrid Lux 2023) and have enjoyed it very much. 65/35 City/Highway driving averaging about 46+ per gallon. Always over 600 miles per tank. I'm 6'1" and haven't had issues with seat positioning or comfort. And my little dog has plenty of rear seat room. Not a...
  16. Dealer says Ford was not accepting Lux Package or CoPilot360 Orders

Ordered XLT Hybrid Lux 360 on 9/16/22. Added SIBL and Cargo Mgt in Dec 22
  17. Custom Garage Door Opener (Cubby) Solution

Wouldn't it have been easier to install a Homelink mirror to solve the issue. There are multiple threads on this. I plan on doing it this weekend. Cost is about $12.
  18. Not as popular as we thought?

I approached several people with Mavericks in the wild. I had only seen pictures and heard gushing commentary. Simply put, I was looking for some IRL input before buying a truck I hadn't even sat in.
