Behind passenger front wheel well, behind the fender liner is connecter for main harness that was my issue. I cleaned and dielectric grease issue went away.

Haven't fixed mine. I have tow package yes.

Update. Took apart wire harness that connects this sensor and the 2 small amber lights in the bumper and put dialectic grease and reconnected. Temp sensor working now. Connector is on passenger side in front of wheel behind in fender liner.

Similar to what leads me to join (Google searched). Have code for outside temp sensor P0073 Ambient air temperature sensor high output. Verified sensor is plugged in and no wire chafing, also verified obd2 port is seeing correct temperature through pcm with Bluetooth scanner Torque app. Guessing...

Just stopped in to see if anyone else is having trouble with intermittent break lights staying on. Sent in to local dealer, they couldn't reproduce the issue. Wife (today) and family and friend all seen the issue. So 3 times people following me noticed 3rd light, and others stayed on while off...
