At I had to trim the pinch weld so they could turn. I definitely lost some turning radius but nothing major. There is rubbing if I try to turn full lock (hits the inner wall), but that would be if I tried to do a tight U turn.

I just tightened it, worry for a day, then forget about it till this very moment

If you have a spare $100 and some time, go DIY. I just finished my roll on kit. Not perfect and I applied very thick, but totally worth every penny. I don’t haul much but the micro scratches were driving me crazy….. I’m also slowly running out of things to do.
